'La Luna del Marinero' has an excellent position in a small, quiet cul de sac with no passing traffic. It is immediately adjacent to a beautiful landscaped pool area and has lovely views. It is superbly furnished. There are 3 bedrooms: 2 x double and 1 x twin, with ample wardrobe and drawer space. The attractive lounge offers guests a very comfortable seating area with TV, providing 30 English channels via cable. There is an adjacent dining area, with a large fully extending table. The fully fitted kitchen is very well equipped with oven, hob, extractor, fridge-freezer, washing machine etc. The bathroom has a full sized bath with shower, toilet, bidet and vanity unit. There are ceiling fans in all rooms. There is off road parking and a garden with patio area. Steps lead up to the spacious, secluded roof-top solarium which provides an attractive dining and sun-bathing area with table, chairs, sun loungers, a shaded area and also a barbecque.

The villa is situated in the lovely residential area of La Marina, midway between Alicante and Torrevieja, only 20 mins. from the airport and very easily accessible from the main N332. Within just a few minutes drive are the fabulous, clean sandy 'Blue Flag' beaches of the Costa Blanca, stretching for miles. La Marina beaches are backed by a pine forest which provides welcome shade and picnic areas. Along the coast are numerous seaside resorts and other places of interest. The area also has many wonderful golf courses of a very high standard, all within a short drive. Terramitica Theme Park and Benidorm are approx. a 45 min. drive to the north, whilst La Manga is less than an hour's drive south. Closer to La Marina can be found the seaside resorts of Santa Pola or Guardamar, both not to be missed, or drive inland to explore the numerous villages.

Beautifully relaxing stay in La Luna del Marinero

We satyed from July 8 09 to 25 July 09. From our first inquiry the owner was very helpful and professional and we were not disappointed when we arrived at the house. We had 2 children aged 8 and 10 and they were delighted to be staying there, it had all the mod cons and the air con was brilliant as it was very hot. There was a beautiful pool accross the road and the house was very well located to beach (although car is required). It was very clean and well maintained. Local restaurants and shops near by although I do advise a car as the area is quite hilly and although our children were fine, younger ones may tire more easily. English station tv channels were great. All in all we had one of the most relaxing holidays ever and we would highly recommed the house to other families.

An excellent villa in a nice quiet area. Plenty to see and do within a short drive. Villa comfortable and quiet. Very friendly. Pool was a savior on several occasions.

We had a very enjoyable time in your villa, would recommend it for a summer holiday to anyone. Would recommend a trip to Torrevieja and Valencia. Chief O' Neills is by far one of the best bars in the area for food and entertainment. The Steak House is also good. Thanks again. - John, Karen, Craig, Kelsey & Ethel

Lovely stay. Found Guardamar beach to be very nice. Can recommend Bonnies Restaurant, Restaurant Chino Gran China. A good day out to Tabarca Island, a snorkel, flippers and mask recommended. - Carolynne & Mark
