Restaurants and stores are located within walking distance, there you will also find a very protected white sand beach surrounded by palm trees where you can rent loungers. If you go further along the beautiful promenade, you can reach the harbour and the city centre of Playa Blanca (about 20 minutes from the bungalow on foot).
The extinct volcano Monte Roja can be toured and offers a stunning view above Playa Blanca and the entire bay.
The newly built harbour of Playa Blanca is worth a visit with countless areas with nice stores and very good restaurants. Every Saturday and Tuesday there is a market where you can find nice souvenirs.
In the Timanfaya national park you can visit the only active volcano on the island. The numerous monuments and buildings that were created by Cesar Manrique are also recommended.
