Trpanj is pretty little village on the northern shore of the Peljesac peninsula, located half way between Spilt and
Dubrovnik. Peljesac offers a magnificent mountainous background for beautiful bays, picturesque villages where
time seems to stand still, vineyards and olive woods. It is regarded as one of the most famous Croatian regions
for producing high quality red wine. Mike Grgich, one of the top Californian winemakers came from Peljesac.
Trpanj is ideal for a beach vacation, thanks to its many rock- and pebble beaches and the clean and calm sea, but
it is also a good starting point for excursions, as for example to the close-by bays of Divna and Duba.
Trpanj hosts numerous restaurants and cafes, a club, bank, post office, gas-station, a pharmacy and medical station, various shops and a quiet tourist- and fishing port. Everything is only a short walk from the Gric B&B.
The Gric B&B is located in a 19th century mediterranean-style villa with a large terrace and lovely garden.
