SUPERB BEACH, SEA VIEW, POOL, 2 BEDROOM HOLIDAY APARTMENTS, SUN YEAR-ROUND

My Dad and I went to stay for one week and fell in love with the apartment and the area. The apartment had everything one would need to have a comfortable holiday. It was really like a home away from home. Very clean and quiet. Excellent shower with a strong water pressure. Lovely to sit out on the balcony overlooking all the lights at night we had a few meals out there it was very nice. The apartment is very central to everywhere. We had lots of fun at the Yumbo Centre and also loved the beach down at Maspolomas. We found it cleaner at that beach then at Playa del Ingles and you don't get harassed by people selling things. You can get a bus to Maspolomas for very cheap or taxi is only 5 euro.
We couldn't believe the sand dunes which was only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. It was like being in the Sahara desert, amazing looking, got some great photos.

I hope to return some day soon and would definitely stay at this apartment again. Good value for money. Also the owner Maria is always quick to respond to any questions you might have. Supermarket beside apartment and some lovely bakeries.

We went on the Gran Canaria Highlights tour which was a really nice full day out. We visited a lovely church, the rum factory which we got to taste all the different kinds and there were some really nice ones at a very reasonable price. Then headed up the hills which I would not recommend for anyone who is nervous or has heart trouble because you really do climb up to the very top of the mountain on extremely narrow roads that at some points you feel you are going to topple over but wow what fantastic photos we got along the way. At one point you could see right across to Tenerife, truly breath taking and highly recommended! You can purchase your ticket for this bus trip through the Visitors Centre there are several around. One down at the beach and also another at the Yumbo Centre.

The Spaniards really do know how to enjoy life, beautiful people and language. Your guaranteed a good time there. Fiesta!!

We stayed with our two adult daughters at the Marysol 2 apartment and found it suited our needs perfectly. There was a grocery store and bakery just around the corner with convenient open hours. We had debated whether to rent a car, but, found it not necessary as the bus stop was only 5 minutes walk away from the apartment with buses running all over the area, and frequently. The beach was a good ten minutes walk from the apartment and there were sun umbrellas and lounge chairs in the closet at the apartment to use if you wished to do so. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of towels and a well equipped kitchen, working stove and a little microwave oven. Thank you, Maria for the welcoming bottle of wine! There were numbers to call in case of any questions and Maria was very reliable and thorough. This is not a luxury apartment, but for the price is was a good value and we would definitely book here again.

Marysol 1 was perfect for our holidays. The views from the apartment were beautiful. We loved the pool and had it to ourselves most days. The description of the apartment was very honest.
We did have a few issues with the electricity in the apartment but our friends who stayed in newly refurbished Marysol 2 did not. Overall we would return to this lovely quiet apartment as its very good value for money and is in a lovely central location.
