Home from home!

We have stayed in this apartment three times now - and we're not usually the type to return to a place already visited. It's about half an hour drive from the airport, not too far - but not so close that you get aeroplanes overhead! Don't forget the mosquito spray though - they start biting as soon as the sun starts to fade.
I can't fault it at all - the apartment is well furnished, clean, roomy and comfortable. The pool is usually empty, as most people go to the beach - you will often have sole use of it, which is lovely. The gardens are well kept, and there's even a semi-tame seagull which often appears on the balcony, and will allow you to hand feed it!
The town in general hums with history and culture, and is far from being the soulless tourist spot you often encounter on holidays. We saw none of the usual tourist coaches.
There is a beautiful beach within easy walking distance (steep steps though) which is well served by two pub/cafes, and many other beaches within a few minutes drive. There are many boat trips available, from pottering around the coastal caves to dolphin watching.
The town is just 5 to 10 minutes walk away, either through some pretty streets or along the scenic beach road; there are many shops, pubs and restaurants worth a visit, and several pubs with internet connection should you need it.
We have stayed here both in high season (very hot, busy, but not too noisy) and at Easter (much less busy, weather was changeable but in general quite like the UK in summer).
We have two young children, and they both love staying in this apartment (quote from the elder one, aged 5 when we first stayed - "If I eat up all my dinners can we come back here?").
In general, highly recommended!
