This lovely traditional Spanish villa is located in a tranquil setting with views over the orange groves and surrounding mountains. The property is very spacious and offers an ideal holiday home. The villa provides 5 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 shower rooms (1 en-suite), living/dining room & kitchen. Outside there are fabulous large covered terraces overlooking the private 12 x 5m swimming pool; barbecue, garage, private gardens & hard tennis court together with a basketball net. The surrounding grounds provide ample attractive terracing & seating areas in and out of the sun. The upper floor has a large terrace from which you can enjoy the breathtaking views. There are 2 village bars/restaurants within a 3 minute walk from the villa.

It is a tranquil valley located just 10 minutes from Gandia, a truly sophisticated working Spanish town with a wealth of modern shops, tree lined walkways, park & squares. Marxuquera is very easily accessible from both Valencia & Alicante airports.

  • A 25% deposit is payable to secure the booking. The balance payment together with a damage deposit of £200 (to cover losses, breakages etc.) is required eight weeks prior to the reservation date. The damage deposit will be returned within 7 days of departure following a property check.
  • The villa can be accessed after 4pm on the day of arrival. It must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure to allow for a thorough changeover clean.

Notes: The spacious accommodation is well laid out, comfortable & tastefully furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped and has 6 burner gas cooker (excellent for larger family groups) and all appliances. The upper floor can be accessed via the interior spiral staircase or an outside stairway which leads to a large upstairs terrace.

GOLFING: For golfing enthusiasts there are many excellent golf courses in the area. In Valencia located on a narrow stretch of dunes and dense pinewoods separating the Albufera Lagoon from the Mediterranean Sea is the El Saler Golf Course, ranked among the Top 10 in Europe and Top 100 in the world. The adjacent Albufera Lagoon is a vast expense of brackish waters and rice paddies, which is also a natural reserve full of birds and wild life. Other courses in and around Valencia of note include, Club de Golf Manises, Club de Golf El bosque & Club de Golf Escorpion. The prestigious Oliva Nova Golf Course is within a 20 minute drive from the villa. This course was designed by Seve Ballesteros, is reasonably priced and boasts an excellent clubhouse with restaurant. Nearby La Sella (Denia) & Javea golf courses offer excellent driving ranges and facilities.

LEISURE ACTIVITIES: Most local beaches offer water sports including water skiing, surfing, wind-surfing, kite-surfing and diving. Horse riding stables can be located next to Oliva Nova Golf Course and there is a go-kart track nearby. Within 30 - 45 mins drive you can visit Vergel Safari Park, Mundomar Sea World, Terra Mittica Theme Park or Aqualandia Water Park. Alternatively you could visit Ibiza on a trip from Denia port, a 25 minute drive away. There are other boat trips to be enjoyed, which travel up and down the coast and to nearby islands.

Other Activities: Wildlife Park, Natural Parks, Museums, Borgia Palace, Go-karting, Quad biking, local fiestas, flamenco entertainment & social outdoor pursuits.
