Our holiday house is situated in an idyllic and very tranquil protected area in the Fischbach district at 1.8 miles from the spa town of Schluchsee. It is the deal base to explore and get to know one of the Black Forest’s most popular holiday regions. Not one, but three lakes: Schluchsee, Windgfällweiher, and Titisee, as well as Feldberg mountain are in easy reach. There are many interesting excursions available in the surroundings. The Black Forest’s nature and climate contribute to relaxation, and numerous walks in the nature in summer or cross-country skiing trails in winter benefit your vitality. Valley Fischbachtal is embedded in meadows and surrounded by woods. There are many half-day and day hikes available

to Schluchsee, lake Windgfällweiher (popular with dogs), lake Titisee (famous from the movie), Feldberg mountain (4921ft) etc. You can really get to know the south of the Black Forest in the very popular Schluchtensteig hiking trail. Typical things to see in the Black Forest include clock museums, old Black Forest Farms (open air museum Vogtsbauernhof) etc. Holders of the 'KONUS' guest card enjoy free of charge bus and train service in the area between Basel and Karlsruhe.
