Problem: You need a nice place to stay in San Francisco for a week or two. Solution: Stay on the Pacific Ocean at the San Francisco Beach House. Our 4 bedroom, 2 bath home is completely furnished and pushed out. We feature fine Natuzzi Italian leather sofas, luxury sheets and linens, white goose down pillows and comforters, cable TV in all rooms, computer with broadband internet access, and more. We are located 2 blocks North of the San Francisco Zoo, 2 miles South of Cliff House, ocean front, on great highway. Golden Gate Park is a short bike ride away, and all the San Francisco attractions are just minutes away. See our website for more information and photos. The Pacific Ocean is right out front!

Comfortable accomodation - great location

We spent a very nice two weeks at Jeff's place - the accomodation is comfortable and well-equipped, and in a great location - outside of the hustle and bustle of the city but easily accessible by car or public transport. The expansive beach across the road is great for walks, sunsets and watching the surf - our party included three kids of 3years and younger and the location was ideal for them. Easy access to the zoo, golden gate park and the city. Jeff is very easy to deal with and I would recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for a relaxing base to explore San Francisco.

Escaping the Tourist Traps

My husband & I left San Francisco in 2002, and like to rent a house when we go back to visit so we can recapture the feeling of living there.

We love this beautiful, spacious beach house, removed from the hustle & bustle of San Francisco's congested neighborhoods -- a peaceful place to return to and unwind after a day crammed with activities. We had a family reunion there and while we went our separate ways during the day, we were glad to come "home" to cook and eat together and catch up on each others' news.

And there's nothing quite like a moonlit walk together along the beach, with or without fog, to reinforce ties among generations of a family.

Big plus: bicycling along the Great Highway to Golden Gate Park.

Our stay was great.The house was great and felt like home from the moment we arrived.The bed were very comfortable which I have found to be rare in vacation rentals. Jeff the home owner was helpful down to earth and felt like an old friend. He did a great job on the remodel of the house.We will surely stay there again sometime. The location was excellent for us the Zoo, Cliffhouse, Golden Gate ect was only minutes away. The beach across the street was great also. It is simply a great place to stay!

Great Beach House

I rented this house for my wife's 40th and it was great. We walked to bars, to breakfast and spent a lot of time at the beach. We walked to the Zoo as well. It is very clean and modern. Owner was great and responsive.

There are two bedrooms upstairs on same level as the kitchen and livingroom and one bedroom downstairs with a familyroom that has two beds in it and a bathroom downstairs. You have to have a big family dowstairs in the shared area, or two couples who like each other, it is a little tight.

We loved it and would rent it again.

This house suited 2 families of four for a week in SFO. Very well equipped, and a great location for evening walks on the beach after you have been out discovering SFO. The muni tram is just one block away and for just 2 dollars you can travel to lots of the main sights and forget the car, just 20 mins to Powel or Embarcadero.
A great stay, would recomend.
