Photos and Description of the Iceland vacation house rental hot pot, elegant and natural interior, separate sleeping room

The house has been designed by a Swiss architect and has been built 2009. The owner emphasized wellbeeing summer and winter. The house is heated with natural hot water. The big windows allow an unrestricted view to the fjord and the weather changes. During winter time northern lights can be observed without leaving the house. A sleeping room with two big wardrobes and a double bed invites to romantic hours. The bathroom is in black stone and has a big shower. The kithchen has all comfort such as dishwasher, oven and fridge. The large living room has a bunk bed and a sofa as well as table with chairs. For your comfort, Internet access is available with a screen, keyboard and mouse. Loudspeakers and HiFi equipment complete the list.

horse riding opportunities: Near the house is the horse farm 'Polarhestar' with more than 100 horses. You can rent them only for a few hours or take part at a longer ride in the nearby valleys.

Ski: During winter there are opportunities to buy rides to the nearby Kaldbakkur with a big snowmobile. In Akureyri is a classical ski area with lifts and illuminated slopes.

Golf: A small golf course (9 holes) is near the house in Grenivik 8 kilometers to the north.
