COMFORTABLE HOLIDAY APARTMENT FOR 4+1, IN THE COUNTRY WITH GARDEN AND SAUNA

We spent a fantastic week in this apartment (the whole ground floor - a huge area!). The accommodation was very clean and well kept and had all the necessary requirements for a getaway. Klaus speaks excellent English and provided excellent references to nearby attractions and things to do. Both Klaus and IIka were very friendly and polite (even with our limited German language).
The location is rural and situated in a small village with excellent roads to nearby larger towns (centrally located between Paderborn, Hameln, Detmold, Hoxter and Bad Driburg) with the usual fantastic motorway connections nearby (to Bielefeld, Hannover, Dortmund and Kassal). We would recommend the local cheese (made in) Nieheim - with excellent REWE and Aldi shopping facilities.
Excellent parking facilities (off-road) for large estate-car. Two bathrooms made family-use easy and stops any arguaments.
An excellent location for general walking and cycling (tandem bike provided !). Would recommend HermansDenkmal and rope-climbing amongst the tree-tops, Externstein rocks, Adlerwarte bird-park, Rudolphs Bratwursts in Detmold, Bielefeld for shopping (Steiff bears) and Nieheims ice-cream parlour in particular.
Usual no-nonsense German cuisine (fantastic) and more varieties of quality beer than can be listed. Don't forget to bring your 3-pin adaptor plugs.
Would definitely recommend and would use again.
