The holiday apartment is located in a historical district of Breisach (former Jewish quarter). It is located in a 200 year old, lovely restored 2 family home with extraordinarily beautiful lattice windows. The romantic, small garden invites you to unwind. The apartment has a 27 m2 large, well-lit living room with a sofa bed, chair, modern shelf units, cable TV and a separate reading or writing desk. For your clothes you will find a beautiful, old spruce cabinet. On request, we can provide you with WLAN connection for your computer. For cosy winter days, there is a fireplace oven that you can light The bedroom offers a large, comfortable double bed and a dresser. In the cosy kitchen with a dining table you will find a fridge, oven with ceramic range and a dishwasher. Bathroom with shower, WC and washing machine. Terrace partially covered.

The holiday apartment Hortense is located in the beautiful three country corner of Germany-France-Switzerland. Breisach is located on the French border of Alsace with its beautiful wine villages and the Vosges behind them. With the train, you can reach the Black Forest metropolis of Freiburg in less than 20 minutes with its beautiful Münster and the Freiburg Bächle. The nearby Kaiserstuhl is the warmest region in Germany and invites you to go on diverse hikes and enjoy culinary delights. The almond trees begin to bloom here early in the year. The special flora of the Kaiserstuhl with rare orchids often awakens in April/May when there is still snow on the mountains in the west and east. The holiday apartment is only a few minutes walk to the ship docks on the Rhine. Big and small cruises are possible during the season, but also excursions by ship to Colmar, Straßburg or Basel (Switzerland). The cycling network allows for beautiful tours.
