Welcome to our guesthouse 'Zum Felsen' in Überlingen by Lake Constance! Our guesthouse has a wonderful location in Überlingen west of the molasses fields of Goldbach! Altogether, there are two holiday apartments available. During the peak season from April to the middle of September, a rich breakfast buffet is included in the price. During the shoulder season without breakfast! The Lake Constance cycling path leads past our house and it is about 150 m to Lake Constance. The Lake Constance spas and the beach pool West are about 500 m from our guesthouse. It is also only a few minutes to the Bodenseetherme train station on foot. It is a 10 minute walk to the city centre on the stunning promenade. The holiday apartments have a full or partial lake view. The furnishing of the apartment is Mediterranean/ all have a balcony or a terrace. TV, radio, DVD and internet access is included! We gladly welcome you, your hosts, Marion and Hardy

Our small, comfortable holiday apartment for small families! This apartment is located on the 1st upper floor and has 2 separate bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen with some chairs! Living room with TV, DVD and radio, plus a small balcony with a partial lake view and a view of the orchard. Separate bathroom with shower and WC! Non-smoking apartment, pets are not allowed! Internet access through cable or WLAN free of charge. Parking space directly by the house. You can also use our beer garden in the back courtyard. Total area of about 50 m2 is furnished in a rustic Mediterranean style with warm colors. Kitchen with small dishwasher, 4 plate stove, fridge with freezer. Arrival during the peak season is always Saturday (minimum stay of 7 nights during the peak season) Arrival during the shoulder season is flexible (minimum stay of 2 nights during the shoulder season) Final cleaning € 20.00 + local visitor's tax.

Notes: You have the possibility of using our beer garden in the courtyard, there is also a small playground with a ping pong table available. Also storage space for your bicycles. We provide a drying room for divers. If you arrive by train or airplane, we will provide you with a transfer to our guesthouse, for a fee. Furthermore, we offer a few personally guided excursions in the beautiful Lake Constance landscape, you are more than welcomed to join. Starting in June 2010, you have the possibility of going on excursions with us on our motorboat or you can just enjoy a ride in the sunset with a glass of wine!! No problem for us, we would be happy to make you a non-binding offer!

Guesthouse 'zum Felsen': Please observe that our guesthouse is guided as a breakfast pension. For larger groups, we can also arrange for an offer with a BBQ night or half board. Our cocktail bar 'Felsenkeller' is open exclusively during the summer months of July and August, always on Fridays after 19:00. You can also book personally guided hikes along Lake Constance, please let us know your wishes. Starting in June 2010, you can go on excursions on Lake Constance with us on our motorboat. Whether swimming, water skiing or simply unwinding with a glass of wine during the sunset - we are there for you!

A peaceful spot, with plenty to do

This was our first family holiday in Germany and we enjoyed it so much that we hope to come back next year. The apartment is very comfortable and Marion and Hardy are friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts.
Despite being near the railway line, this is a very peaceful spot, about 15 minutes walk on the flat into the town centre. Ueberlingen itself is a lively resort, with plenty to do and plenty of cafes and restaurants. It's also easy to get to other resorts around the lake.
Not to be missed: a trip to the Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen in Switzerland (take your passport, but euros are accepted as currency); Meersburg; a dip in the lake; finally, make sure you try the skampiteller at Knoblauch's Fischerei und Bistro.
