The apartments are in the centre of the romantic old town of Rovinj and are for those wanting the freedom to self-cater or eat out. Rovinj has many good restaurants and cafes, and if you want to self-cater, food stores and an open fruit and vegetable market are all just round the corner. The apartments are very near the sea, which you can see from the windows. The apartments have been recently renovated to a high standard and include a very well equipped, modern kitchen and bathroom, with a cooker and microwave, washing machine, satellite television and air conditioning. The apartments are managed locally and guests are met on arrival and personally shown into their apartment. Rovinj has been described as the 'pearl of Croatia'. Details for Felix 1 Bedroom, Sleeps 4, 1 Bathroom

This apartment is perfect for two people but easily accommodates four. It has an unusually big bedroom and living room with the original floorboards exposed and polished. Felix is very light and spacious, with exceptionally high ceilings. Looking out of the large windows you can see the fresh fruit and vegetable market opposite and the Croatian bakery. This is very popular with Rovinjians, so get your bread and cakes early! To the right is the sea and to the left the harbour. The kitchen comes from Italy and is well supplied with everything you need to cook for yourselves or to entertain if you want to.

Rovinj is located on the western coast of Istria, the biggest Adriatic peninsula. It is a 3 hour boat ride from Venice and less than two hours from Trieste, 270 km away from Zagreb, a little bit more than 500 km away from Vienna and around 700 km away from Munich. Rovinj is a splendid medieval town surrounded by beautiful countryside in a region that has been described as the new Tuscany. Rovinj has a Mediterranean climate, the average temperature in July is 22.3 C and at times reaches 35 C. Formerly part of the Venetian Empire (the region supplied Venice with timber for its fleet), the town has a rich history and fascinating buildings rising from the narrow cobbled streets. The area offers, as well as beaches and water activities, plenty of opportunity for outdoor activities such as cycling, tennis and climbing.

  • Reservations: A deposit of 30% is required to secure a reservation. Until we receive your deposit, your reservation is not guaranteed. The balance of your reservation is due one month prior to your arrival date. Failure to pay this will result in a loss of deposit and reservation. If a booking is made within 1 month of your proposed arrival, then the total cost of the holiday is payable at the time of booking.
    Refund Policy: Deposits are non-refundable - we will refund 50% of your deposit if we are able to rebook the apartment . In the event of cancellation after payment in full, we will refund 75% of your payment if we are able to rebook the apartment. Croatian Tourist Tax: The City of Rovinj charges a tourist tax per person for each night that you stay in Rovinj (max of 1 euro each night, per person). This tourist tax will be charged at the time of booking. In the event of cancellation this will be refunded in full - no matter how late you cancel.
  • Damages: A deposit of E150 will be payable in cash, on arrival. This will be refunded when you leave the apartment, provided there are no damages. Minimum Booking Periods: In high and peak periods, the minimum booking period is 1 week; at other times the minimum booking period is 2 nights. Payment: Payment can be made bank transfer. Payment of either the deposit or the full amount, will constitute a binding contract between you (the payer) and us (Sororis d.o.o) and implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions. Arrival & Departure time: Please plan to arrive after 2:00 pm. The property must be vacated by 10:00 am on your departure date. Pet Policy: Strictly No Pets are allowed. Smoking Policy: Apartments are “No Smoking” apartments.

  • This is a seriously big bathroom with a well lit mirror and cupboards. There is a bath - with some surprising taps! - and a separate, very generous shower enclosure. We provide all the towels and linen for the apartment and for those staying longer than a few nights, sheets and towels are changed once a week.

  • Bedroom 1 has a super double bed, plenty of room to hang clothes and lots of storage space. There is a large air conditioning unit giving warmth during the winter months and a cool breeze during the hot Croatian summer nights. This a large bedroom that we have kept uncluttered. We have added a very unusual little table - we couldn't resist it! Bedroom 2 is part of the L-shaped living area. There is a comfortable double sofa bed and those sleeping in Bedroom 1 access the bathroom without going through this area. We can supply a travel cot with bedclothes.

'At apartment Felix, Rovinj is on your doorstep. You step out of the door into the bustling seven day a week open air market with its stalls piled high with fruit and veg and the enclosed regular fish market closeby. In close proximity are fine restaurants and wine bars, some secluded in the shady cobble streets that stretch maze like across the town. Despite this, apartment Felix is away from it all, modern and comfortable but retaining the charm of the old architecture. Rovinj is a magical place and Felix a great place from which to enjoy it.' Peter and Lin Walker 'Back to reality after a fantastic week in Rovinj. We explored the town from end to end and photographed it from every angle. We also ventured further afield and greatly enjoyed Vdsar - we spent Valentine's Day there, and watched the sun go down before having a meal at Tratoria Dream in Rovinj. Clean and as-described

We spent three nights at the Felix apartment in June. The Felix apartment is clean and as-described, and there are helpful local managers who speak English well. Homeaway shows photos from three apartments located in the same building. The apartments are accessed by a steep, narrow staircase that requires care. Prompt responses from the owner. <p>

Rovinj is a picturesque old town with narrow, cobblestone streets. We used Rovinj as a base to visit Pula and Motovun for day trips. There is free parking 20 minutes from the apartment. Closer parking costs over a euro an hour.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Felicity delivers all you need

we stayed in the Felicity (studio) apartment for 5 nights in May. The apartment was well thought out and had everything we could possibly require - loads of kitchen utensils, hairdryer, local information, even a little English language library! All these extra touches made for a perfect stay. that is on top of the fact that a) the rates are reasonable, b) the location is amazing, c) the apartment is larger than it looks in the photos and d) everyone we dealt with whether by email or face to face was mega-helpful and genuinely seemed to want to be sure we would have a good holiday. One thing to note is that as usual for old Croatian village houses there is a long narrow stone staircase to reach the apartment which may make it unsuitable for anyone who doesn't have the legs of a mountain goat! I will definitely be recommending the Felicity apartment to my friends & family.
