an organic canteen close by where you can get a soup with bun for 1.8 USD, this house that first belonged to a supporter of the Nazi regime and is now owned by a women from Georgia, which is my wife, together with two former bank executives. Here, in one of the finest houses of Friedrichstrasse, you can taste the past and the present of MyBerlinStyle. 120sqm very bright, quiet and comfortable luxury downtown apartment situated on the 2nd floor in one of the finest houses of the famous Friedrichstrasse. The apartment was ecologically renovated in August 2009 and has high-quality furnishings. Gutschow House was built in 1895 and represents an important work of historicism (gothic revival and new renaissance). It is the only house in the southern Friedrichstrasse that survived the war to 100%. Due to the complex façade design, its history and its location, the house is a city landmark.

    10% introductory discount on all reservations for 2009 and 2010, that will be made until December 31, 2009. Exception: X-MAS (23 Dec 09 - 26 Dec 09 +30%, minimum stay of 5 days), Sylvester (27 Dec 09 - 02 Jan 10 +50%, minimum stay of 5 days), Berlinale (10 Feb 10 - 22 Feb 10 +20%), Easter (02 Apr 10 - 05 Apr 10 +15%), Berlin Marathon (24 Sep 10 - 27 Sep 10 +20%)

    On request: pick up airport service, baby bed, baby chair, babysitting services, bicycle rental and shopping service, breakfast and lunch can be arranged from Monday to Friday on the other side of the street at bio bistro (organic).
  • Payment Methods
    Bank transfer as rental confirmation.
    PayPal ONLY if the customer has loaded the money into his own PayPal account. Sorry, we can not accept PayPal credit card payments.
    Half of the rental due immediately as confirmation of the reservation.
    Full amount due 30 days prior to arrival.

    Deposits
    250 Euro in cash, fully refundable security deposit.
    Can be paid cash in any other major currencies so that you do not have to exchange the Euro on departure.

    Cancellations
    We want to give you as much flexibility as possible. Therefore bookings can be cancelled or changed at anytime. A full refund minus 20 Euro will be made only if somebody else will book the dates you cancelled, otherwise the booking dates can be changed with available ones, but no refund can be made. For unavoidable circumstances we advice you to make a travel insurance. But even without insurance: you will not lose your money if you can choose other free dates.
  • Children under 7 years old free, age 7 to 14 years 50%.
    We allways try to to give families with two or more children a special offer, even if the children are over 14.

Die Wohnung ist genau wie beschrieben, sie ist absolut perfekt und die Vermieter sind unglaublich nett und hilsbereit. Es ist sauber, man braucht nichts mitzunehmen, weil alles vorhanden ist. Die Lage ist genial, man kann fast alles zu Fuss erreichen, ansonsten ist Bus und Bahn schnell zu erreichen. Wir (Familie zu fünft) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und fahren jederzeit wieder dort hin. Vielen, vielen Dank nochmal.
P.S.:Es ist die alte Zauberzentrale Berlins, ein Haus mit Geschichte

Hallo zusammen,

kann mich den bisherigen Bewertungen nur anschliessen. Top Ferienwohnung in zentraler Lage von Berlin. Alles leicht zu erreichen inklusive U-Bahn-Anschluss (U6 - Kochstr.). Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt, Drogerie, Bäcker, Bio-Laden) in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr feundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Bemerkenswert: für Familien mit Kindern gibt es einen zusätzlichen Rabatt. Absolut empfehlenswertes Domizil für einen tollen Berlin-Aufenthalt!

Sightseeing mit Familie

Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal, zur U-Bahn Hallesches Tor sind es zwei Minuten. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung liegen genügend Supermärkte zur Versorgung. Viele wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten sind problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Zunächst die Kritikpunkte. Das Haus hat eine tolle Fassade, leider ein charmloses renovierungsbedürftiges Treppenhaus. Die Wohnung liegt im 2. Stock ohne Aufzug. Es läßt sich kein Raum vernünftig abdunkeln, das macht nachts viel aus, da es in der Straße erstaunlich hell ist. Es hat uns auf Städtetour allerdings nicht wirklich gestört.
Die Wohnung ist top renoviert, die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, der Charme einer Altbauwohnung ist toll erhalten. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist perfekt, sie sind jederzeit ansprechbar und hilfsbereit.

Alles in allem: jederzeit wieder

Berlin mit Familie

Hallo,
wir waren eine Woche im Oktober in Berlin und es war einfach nur gut.
Nicht zuletzt weil auch die Wohnung wirklich gut gelegen und auch gut ausgestattet ist. Die Vermieter selber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, was sicher auch zum Wohlfühlen beiträgt.
Wie beschrieben ist die Wohnung frisch renoviert (im Gegensatz zum Treppenhaus, hat aber auch seinen Charme) und alles ist sehr sauber und neuwertig.
Einziges kleines Manko ist, dass die Zimmer nicht komplett verdunkelt werden können, was uns zu der Jahreszeit aber nicht störte und man ist ja auch nicht nur zum Schlafen da.
Die Parkmöglichkeit ist auf einem nicht öffentlich zugänglichem, direkt an das Haus angrenden Parkplatz. Allerdings haben wir das Auto nicht gebraucht, da viele Ziele zu Fuß erreichbar sind ebenso wie die U-Bahn (Hallesches Tor in max. 5 Minuten).
Alles was man für das tägliche Überleben braucht ist in der Nähe, zB Richtung Mehringplatz vorhanden (Restaurants, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Drogerie, Bäcker, Apotheke, Ärtze, usw..)
Tipp: Zum Essen gehen auch mal in Richtung Kreuzberg (Bergmannstrasse) gehen. Prima Preis/Leistungsverhältnis also deutlich günstiger als beim Nobelitaliener ;-) und vielfältige Auswahl.

Schöner Altbau in bester Berliner Wohnlage

Das Apartment befindet sich im 2 OG eines prachtvolles Hauses der Jahrhundertwende (Baujahr 1895) dessen repräsentative Fassade unterstreicht die gute Adresse des Hauses.
Die Wohnung ist im Topzustand. Der Parkettboden, die hohen Decken, der großzügige Stuck oder auch die Kassetentüren machen den besonderen Charme der Wohnung aus.
Unsere Eindrücke:
Hier stimmte einfach alles: der nette e-Mail mit dem Vermieter und mit der Vermieterin vorab, die pünktliche Übergabe der Wohnung, die gute Ausstattung des Apartments, die zentrale Lage des Hauses und die reibungslose Übergabe der Wohnung vor der Abfahrt. Nicht vergessen die für Gäste reservierten naheliegenden Parkplätze. Das ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit im Zentrum des Berlins.
Einziger Abzug: Sanierungsbedürftiges Treppe
