A beautiful traditional Greek-style stone house with comforts to cater for all seasons. It is the ideal summer holiday rental for a family. It is self-catered and fully equipped. The entire property with surrounding gardens measures 5600 square meters. This ensures privacy and the garden is a secure place for children. The house consists of two floors (total of 80 square metres). The living room, kitchen, dining area and a toilet are on the ground floor while the two bedrooms and main bathroom with shower are on the first floor. The house has its own private roofed terrace and garden area. Air-conditioning in all rooms.

Nearest Airport: Eleutherios Venizelos Athens airport at 130 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Halkidas railway station at 29 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 200 Metres

The villa is located only 200 meters from the beach on a majestic slope with wonderful views of the Evian Gulf and is surrounded by rich and beautiful nature. The closest village is Politika which is 3km away. Politika is a traditional fishing-village with a long pebbly beach. At Politika you can find many tavernas with fresh fish and seafood, ouzo-bars, restaurants and snack-bars that will satisfy every mood and taste. Politika has a Byzantine Monastery and a Medieval Tower. Halkida, which is the capital of Evia island, is 35 km from the villa. There you can find almost everything. It has shopping centers, great night life with clubs and bars, and many activities to do, like sailing, scuba diving, water ski etc.

Breakfast Provisions: Fresh local ingredients can be supplied upon request for your first breakfast. A surcharge of 5 Euros per person applies.

Booking Deposit: All reservations must be guaranteed with a payment of 50% of the total amount upon confirmation. The other 50% is due upon arrival.

Security Deposit: A 200 Euros refundable cash security deposit is to be given to the property owner upon arrival. Should there be damage inflicted to the property which exceeds 200€, the tenant(s) will be held responsible and liable for the full cost of the damage.

Other Activities: You can do water skiing, scuba diving, sailing and other activities at Halkida (30 minutes drive).

Perfect for relaxing and much more

The villas are embedded in olive groves, situated next to the sea, with its wonderful clear water. It is a perfect place for relaxing, discovering Evia, having a nice evening in one of the taverns at Politika, or even a lot of more things you would like to do in you holidays.
The studio was perfect – everything which you need in an apartment was available – coffee, sugar, home made jam, oil, vinegar, sunshade for the beach and much more.
We really enjoyed our holidays!

ACCOMMODATING AND ATTENTIVE!

In May 2009, my wife, our ten-month-old, and I, stayed in the studio for a week. Our stay was very nice: the price was right, the accommodation was more than adequate, and the owners were very attentive to our needs, going the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. The location is good for hanging around, going locally for food and fun in the sun, or making day trips to "man made" attractions, eg. Athens and Delphi. The rides through the mountains - both on Evia Island and the mainland - were gorgeous, and you get the sense that some things haven't changed since Zeus was hidden in Crete! (The only reason I would not rate our stay as "Excellent" is that the location was not as secluded as we would have preferred; but then, our definition of secluded - no sights or sounds indicating civilization - is probably a bit different than many people's.)
