Wow what a fabulous villa in absolutely stunning setting! Have just arrived back from a great holiday in Villa Los Pinos. There was 6 of us including my 8 yr old son & so the villa was perfect for us as its very spacious, plenty of seating, kitchen with everything we needed for our stay as we ate almost every meal out on the veranda. The pool area & barbecue are a level above up a small flight of steps but this wasnt a problem & actually found it more sheltered from the sun to eat at the table on the ground level closer to the kitchen. The view from the pool is amazing-I actually commented 1 day that I could sit there for ever & I would never tire of the view. As the villa is set up on a hill, the view looks down over the village Parcent & you are surrounded by mountains for as far as the eye can see,it is truly magnificent. Anyone who has never been to this part of Spain doesnt know what theyre missing, its magnificent!
A visit to the village Parcent is a must. A typical Spanish village with narrow streets, and pretty little squares. Visit the English owned restaurant La Carascel we had the best meal ever there on a fab little terrace on the 1st floor. The villagers are sitting outside there doors as you walk back to your car, very friendly & all say hola! as you pass.
You are also easy access to Benidorm which we also love although totally different obviously, and Calpe is only 20 mins drive, also very lovely, & would recommend visit to Javea with lots of great restaurants & lovely sandy beach. There are tons of tiny villages in the Jalon valley though to keep you occupied, including Jalon itself, visit the Co-operative bodega by the river & sample before you buy!
The best part of our holiday was our villa though. It was important to us that we had ensuite bathrooms which we had here with large bedrooms. There was no air-con but we had the fans on us at night & even though it was August & sweltering, we did find it was okay. The living area is huge with 3 large leather sofas & my little boy was delighted because he had all his usual cartoons on sky TV. The villa is set on a large plot of land with a big wide driveway with lots of space and surrounded by pine trees. The pool area is fab, with 6 sunbeds & a table with 6 chairs too by the barbecue.
Jill from Jalon Valley villas is excellent. If you have any problems at all she will sort them immediately for you.
Great villa, great area, would highly recommend, had best time ever, thankyou so much!
