Already when you enter the front door you immediately have a dreamlike panoramic view of entire Nice from the 2-room-apartment with kitchen, bathroom, WC, balcony. The apartment is located in a very nice residential area in western Nice. Shops are nearby. You only need 10 min afoot to the beach but you are also welcome to take the bus (1.00 €) that will take you also into the city, the train station or the airport.

Directly underneath the apartment there is a green area which adjoins a private domain with single-family houses. Due to that the apartment is very tranquil even though the location is central.

The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery for 12 persons, fridge/freezer combination, cooker, oven, microwave, washing machine and a dish washer. It is possible for 2 persons to enjoy a cosy breakfast on the balcony.

From the couch in the living room you have a dreamlike view through the picture window of entire Nice, Mt. Boron, Cap Ferrat and the sea.

In the quarter Lanterne, in the west of Nice, the city, Cap Ferrat and the sea are at your feet. You see the ships entering and leaving the old harbour, but also the mountains with its snow-covered tops in the inland.

Here you find an apartment with a breathtaking panoramic view. Because of its location on the 6th and last floor the apartment is very bright and tranquil. The street and the bus stops (12, 60, 65 and 73) are located in front of the house, but in the back of the building. Shops are in immediate vicinity of the apartment and can also be found on the way to the promenade/beach (10 min afoot).

In the evenings you can spend cosy nights on the balcony or in the living area while enjoy the sea of lights of Nice through the picture window: promenade, hotel Negresco, the old harbour and the lighthouse on the Cap Ferrat.

Even on the national holiday you don't have to leave the apartment to see the fireworks.

Beautiful View of the Sea

This 6th floor apartment with its marble floors is spacious and simply beautiful. From the balcony, the view of Baie Des Anges is breathtaking. Standing on the balcony with a freshly brewed coffee in hand, watching the sun rise over the sea is a magnificent way to start each day!! From this apartment, it is a short 10 minute walk down to the Promenade or one can also take bus #12 which stops nearby. For those with an interest in French cooking, the kitchen is fully equipped with an excellent stove and very nice Bosch oven. This apartment also comes equipped with Internet for those seeking to take care of business matters while staying in Nice. We have stayed in Nice on prior occasions, but this perfect apartment made this visit extra special. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking to make their next visit to Nice an absolutely perfect experience.

You stay in the great residential area Lanterne in the western part of the city in a well-maintained complex. Here you have the choice: Either walking within 10 min to the beach/promenade, or take the busses 12/60/65/73. Because of the unique location we can offer a quiet apartment with a fantastic view and still central. The bus No 12 goes directly to the train station. From here you can go all the way to Cannes into western direction. In Antibes the Marinaland lures with several parks or Aquasplash invites to swim with its numerous slides and attractions. In the east you can pass Monaco and reach Italy, e.G. Monaco - Oceanographic Museum, Palace, casino or further to Ventimiglia with its market.

Negresco, Place Massena, flower market until the harbour. Numerous museums can be visited. Or are you interested in the Observatory?

Other Activities: The skiing areas are about 1 h by car and can be reached by bus with affordable prices

    Upon booking a deposit of 30 % is payable. The balance has to be paid 3 weeks before arrival.
    Deposit: 300 €; this can be transferred together with the balance or can be paid on site in cash.

    Final cleaning: 60 €;

    A set of bed linen can be rented for a fee of 12.00 €/person. A set includes the sheets, the bedcover, the pillow covers, a shower towel, wash cloth and two towels.
    Tea towels are available.
    Beach mats are also provided, but beach towels have to be brought along.
    There is a ironing board and iron available for our guests. There is a large shopping bag available for your shopping trips, which you can also use for visits to the beach.
  • Upon agreement a transfer from and to the airport can be organized.
  • There is a parking in a closed double garage in the basement, which can be rented additionally, if requested.

  • The bathroom has a marble floor, walls up to 1.80 m, tiled. It is equipped with a bathtub with shower, sink, toilet and bidet. Above the sink there is a mirror cabinet. Underneath and next to the sink you find small cabinets for storage. A hair-dryer is available. Next to the bathrooms there is a separate toilet.

  • The apartment is situated on the 6th that is the last floor (lift available). Balcony about 8 sqm. The couch in the living room can be extended and offers a surface of 1.80 x 2.00 m, sufficient space for 2 persons. The living/dining area has two huge picture windows that almost cover the entire front part. Due to this you have a fantastic view not only from the balcony but also from the living room. You have the same view from the bedroom just without the no picture windows but double windows in standard size. The apartment has been extensively modernised in September 2009. Bedrooms including the complete electrical system, marquee and all blinds are now motorised, thanks to the dish German TV can be received now, flat screen in the bedroom and new flat screen (102 cm) in the living room.

Notes:
As this is a non-smoker house we would like to ask smokers in advance already to only smoke on the balcony! In April 2009 new laminate was laid in the bedroom. The hallway, bathroom and living/dining area have marble floor and the kitchen is tiled. The building has a lift and a waste disposal unit on every floor.
