In the ' Cure-Hessian Bergland' walk between untouched meadows, forests and lakes. The highest mountains are 650 meters high. In close environment you find different equestrian farms, a game park and the Sommerrodelbahn at the ' Silbersee'. Numerous nature baths and lakes invite to the refreshment. At the ' Singliser See' come also the wind surfers at their expense. the district town Homberg with historical town centre and the castle plant is distant for 5 km. Also worth seeing the framework city Melsungen - distance 11 km. A further highlight is the Offroad park ' Bad Wolf'. Here you experience ' Action-Non-Stop' on a 70 ha large areas. You reach the Documenta city Kassel in only 15 autominutes. Explore the largest mountain park worth seeing of Europe with the lion castle and the lock Wilhelm height. To a visit lock loads Wilhelmsthal into Kassel Calden in. For peace and relaxation the beautiful cure Hessen hot spring can provide.

Zu Recht bezeichnen die Vermieter ihr großzügiges Grundstück als "Kleine Insel". Kaum angekommen, vergisst man den Alltag und kann von Anfang an Erholung pur genießen. Es ist ein kleines Paradies, in dem darauf geachtet wird, dass die Natürlichkeit nicht verloren geht.Man fühlt sich nicht als zahlender Gast unter vielen, sondern mehr als besonderer Besuch, der lieb aufgenommen wird. Wir haben in unserer erholsamen Woche das Leben genießen dürfen und kommen bald mal wieder.
Die Möglichkeiten in der Umgebung , sei es Kultur oder Sport oder...sind vielfältig. Wir hatten keine Langeweile und wenn doch, war dies beabsichtigt!
Auch unser Hund war begeistert, konnte er doch stundenlang im Garten dösen und spielen.
Fazit: Empfehlenswert, da nicht die kleinste Kleinigkeit fehlte!

Erholung pur!

Wir waren leider nur 4 Tage im Haus Falkenhof, aber es wird nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein.
Das Haus ist einfach wunderschön, gemütlich eingerichtet und vor allen Dingen sehr sauber und wir haben die Abende vor dem Kamin genossen! Auch der Garten ist einmalig und wurde mit viel Liebe zu einer richtigen Wohlfühl-Oase. Die Lage direkt am Feldrand war für unseren Hund natürlich perfekt.

Die Vermieter sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Da bleibt kein Wunsch offen!

Ich kann dieses Haus mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!!

Unser Urlaub in diesem Haus war wunderbar!! Kein Wunsch blieb offen. Tolles Ambiente, sehr nette Vermieter, prima Ausstattung des Hauses, schöne Umgebung, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten..... man kann gar nicht alles in Worte fassen, wie toll es ist. Wir werden auf jeden Fall unseren nächsten Urlaub wieder dort verbringen.

Wir waren ein verlängertes Wochenende im Haus Falkenhof zu Gast und rundherum zufrieden. Das Haus selber ist sehr schön und die Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Auch der Garten ist wunderschön und liebevoll gepflegt.
Es ist alles da was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Vom Kücheninventar über Feuerholz für die schöne Lagerfeuerstelle. Es hat an nichts gefehlt.

Die Vermieter sind sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit und haben alles getan um unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner zu machen.

Kurz gesagt es war alles perfekt und ich wäre gerne noch länger geblieben. Erholung pur und wer Entspannung und Ruhe sucht, für den ist das Haus Falkenhof genau das richtige!

wunderschöner und erholsamer Kurzurlaub zu Zweit

Wir waren vom 11.07.2009 bis zum 16.07.2009 im Haus Falkenhof und waren sowohl von dem Haus und dem dazugehörigen mediteranen Garten, als auch von den sehr hilfsbereiten und freundlichen Vermietern sehr begeistert! Bei dieser absoluten Idylle im Knüllwald kann man seinen Alltagsstress vollkommen vergessen! Das wunderschöne und stilvoll eingerichtete Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen! In der Region Knüllwald kommen alle Naturliebhaber auf ihre Kosten. Man kann seine Zeit für Wanderungen und sportliche Aktivitäten voll ausnutzen! Auch der nahe gelegene Wildpark ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert! Kulturliebhaber sind in dieser Region durch die vielen Burgen, Kirchen, Schlösser und historische Städte ebenfalls sehr gut aufgehoben.

Fazit: Wir können dieses Feriendomizil und das hessische Bergland guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf selbst einmal wieder im Haus Falkenhof Urlaub zu machen!
