Like living in paradise? Imagine that you rise in the morning to the sound of the birds singing in the garden. Behind the house stands a mighty mountain, crowned by a volcano nearly 4,000 metres high. From the house, you can hike directly into Tenerife’s protected nature reserve. Or you can stand on the spacious terrace and take in the view of the morning sun and the silhouettes of the small neighbouring islands of La Gomera and La Palma before taking a refreshing dip in the pool. Maybe it sounds like a dream, but this dream can be yours. This country house, “Casa del Campo”, was completely renovated in 2009 and brought right up to date with modern technological standards. The interior area is approximately 250m², distributed between the living room, kitchen, dining room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Near to the county town of Adeje, to which Playa de las Americas belongs too, lies the village of 'Taucho'. It is a small Spanish village, located on the popular and sunny south-west side of the island of Tenerife at an elevation of about 800 m. In the village itself there is a good restaurant where you can eat reasonably cheaply. There are five other restaurants with Spanish, Canarian and international cuisine within about 0.5 to 3 km. The beaches of Playa de Las Americas are just a stone's throw away and the nearest golf course is only about 10 minutes away. Even the National Park 'Las Cañadas' with its rugged lunar landscape, famous observatory, fantastic coastal views and the infinite expanse of the Atlantic Ocean are only half to three-quarters of an hour away by car.

Notes: The living room is around 50 m² and features several comfortable sofas, a TV with satellite connection for the reception of major international television and radio channels in digital quality. The modern kitchen would be a delight to anyone, it has just about everything: oven, electric grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle. The country house we’re offering is partly modern and partly rustic. It offers every comfort and there is really no need for detail, so we have just summarised the description of the interior.

Outside:: Right in front of the house, with a south-westerly sea-view, is a spacious sun terrace and pool of 4 x 8 m (approx.), framed by flowerbeds and a lawn. From the pool and terrace there is not only a wonderful view of La Gomera and the Atlantic, but also in the evening, the sea of lights of the tourist resort that lies on the coast. On most days, you can marvel at the mighty volcano Teide, which rises above this 'Island of Eternal Spring'. The best time to enjoy the terrace of this house is during the evening when the deep-red sun slowly sinks into the sea behind the silhouette of La Gomera, nearly 30 miles away, in a magnificent spectrum of colour.

Distance:: The beaches in the south of the island are only 15 minutes drive away. The South Airport is 30 km away, the North Airport around 100 km away. The Costa Adeje Golf Course is about 15 minutes away and the Abama Gold Course about 20 minutes away. There are two large supermarkets just 10 minutes away.
