'Casa Ruscello' is a beautiful and tastefully renovated flat in the heart of the medieval town centre of Dolceacqua. Unlike many other properties, this flat can be accessed comfortably and without a steep ascent, from the parking spaces nearby. The flat is situated on the second floor and offers a spacious living/dining room, a shower room, a double bedroom and a sofa bed, all on one floor level. A staircase leads up from the living room/kitchen to the terrace with a pretty view over the surrounding gardens and the local stream. This is the perfect place to enjoy your breakfast or a glass of wine whilst listening to the sound of the waterfall. 'Casa Ruscello is ideal for 2 to 3 people to share. The equipment of the flat is contemporary and comfortable; shopping facilities and restaurants are only a short walk away from the flat.

The romantic town of Dolceacqua is situated some 8 km away from Ventimiglia and 10 km away from Bordighera. Dolceacqua is a picture perfect example of a medieval Ligurian town. Narrow mews wind their way up to the town's landmark: The remains of the Doria Castle. The two village parts, Terra and Bordo, are connected by an elegant stone bridge - the bridge is so beautiful, it even inspired the French painter Claude Monet some 100 years ago. Dolceacqua is the perfect base from where to venture out into the beautiful surroundings; the Martime Alps, the Riviera of Flowers (Sanremo) or the Cote d'Azur with Menton, Nizza and Cannes, are all within reach and just one hour's drive away.

"Ohne großen Anstieg" ist zwar richtig, aber es gibt trotzdem ca. 60 meist sehr niedrige Stufen (rauf und runter) vom Parkplatz bis zur Wohnung zu bewältigen. Aber so was passt zu der urigen, mittelalterlichen Stimmung, die hier herrscht. Wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist sauber und (von dem Quaken der Fröschen abends und der italienischen Omis im Garten morgens abgesehen) herrlich ruhig. Die Sonne knallt auf die Terrasse bis ca. 10 Uhr, danach ist's schattig. Der Strand (grober Kiesel) in Camporossa - erstaunlich leer in der Woche. Die Vermieterin (ihre Schwiegermutter wohnt im Haus) ist sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Wirklich gute Restaurants (Il Borgo) direkt im Ort. Wir würden die Wohnung unseren Freunden weiterempfehlen...
