Photos and Description of the St. Pölten vacation castle rental

The castle is located close to Vienna and the famous and culinary Danube valley `Wachau´- perfect for sightseeing tours (see www.schloss-wasserburg.com). The baroque castle is surrounded by a lovely moat and horses graze in the historic park in the shade of old trees, there are numerous romantic spots for picnics. A large swimming pool (22x 14m), a pool house and a tennis court are situated in the historic stone garden. There are several golf courses near by (15-30 min drive). 19 people can reside in the castle. The first floor has a large entrance hall with an open fire place, a vestibule and a sauna. The 2nd floor offers a large living room, a Chinese dinning room, a breakfast room, a library with an open fire place, a large kitchen, and a ballroom. A housemaid is in the price included.
