Cape Coral is the ideal starting point for day excursions thanks to its ideal location on the west coast of central Florida! Thus, you can reach the Everglades in a one hour drive. To Tampa (Bush Gardens) it is about two hours and 2.5 hours to Miami. Orlando with its amusement parks (Disney World, Disney Studios, Universal Studios, Sea World) is about a 3 hour drive from Cape Coral. The islands of Sanibel and Captiva are practically in front of the door and the fine-sand and kilometre long beach at Fort Myers is only a few miles away. The Miromar Outlets with more than 120 shops are only 20 minutes from the house and the Sun Splash water park and countless supermarkets and gas stations are 'right around the corner'.
Boat rental:
You have the possibility to rent boats separately (21 years or older). A boat license is not required in Florida! Your holiday is perfect with a motor boat. Ask us. We would be happy to give you a contact to rent a motor boat.
