Im Casa Motte haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Ferienhaus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und war sehr sauber. Leider konnten wir die schöne Dachterrasse nicht oft nutzen, da es teilweise sehr windig war und auch geregnet hat, man kann sich aber super im Wintergarten aufhalten.
Danke nochmal an Sabine, die uns sehr nett empfangen hat.

Das Restaurant gleich um die Ecke ist sehr empfehlenswert.

El Hierro ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert. Jede Kanareninsel ist ja individuell, aber El Hierro ist noch so ursprünglich und nicht vom Tourismus überlaufen.
Owner's Response: Manchmal zum Nachteil der Gäste der Insel, für uns hier Lebenden aber notwendig, sind die ab September seltenen, im Winter häufiger aufkommenden Regenschauer. Meistens gehen diese bald vorüber, oft auch nur nachts, und man kann an einer Hand abzählen, wenn es mal einen Tag lang regnet. Daher zeigt uns El Hierro auch im Hochsommer immer noch grüne Zonen.
Wie in der Bewertung beschrieben, kann man sich aber auch gut im Wintergarten aufhalten, oder man sucht trockene Ecken auf der Insel, die es eigentlich immer gibt.
Ebensowenig haben wir Einfluss auf den Wind, der in den Sommermonaten Juli/August sehr stark bläst.
Wenn man, wie diese Gäste, nur eine Woche in Casa Motte ist, dann auf 2 windige und einen Regentag trifft, dann bleibt wirklich nicht mehr viel Zeit, um die Dachterrasse zu nutzen.
Ich danke trotzdem sehr herzlich für diese Bewertung.
