Our apartments offer accommodation for one, two, four or up to 8 people who are holidaying together but who also wish for some privacy. Each apartment has: one bedroom with twin beds; a spacious and beautifully appointed shower-room; a fully equipped kitchen area; lounge with a sofabed, and a large balcony which catches the sun all afternoon. They are located at Sol Andalusi, which offers superb services matching a superior hotel. There is a bar, restaurant, spa, gym, tennis, yoga, indoor and outdoor pool, cinema, theatre, small supermarket and maid service. Transport, excursions and car hire are organised for you and there is a bus. There are 4 golf courses nearby. The setting is rural but it is well located for easy access to the beach, the town of Malaga, the airport and the local town of Alhaurin de la Torre. The complex is very suitable for wheel-chair users and elderly. It is gated with 24 hour security.

Each apartment has a twin bedded room, a fully equipped kitchen area, a splendid and spacious shower room and a large sunny balcony with table and four chairs and two sun beds. From the balcony there are beautiful views of the mountain ranges of Mijas and Guadalhorce. Although the kitchens are fully equipped for all your catering and laundry needs, there is a very reasonably priced restaurant, cafe and bar on site. You can mix and match ´catered´ and ´self-catered´ according to your mood or appetite! There are also many restaurants in the local town to suit different tastes and budgets. Prices are considerably lower than on the coast. The building was completed in 2004 and great attention has been paid to making everything accessible by wheel-chair or by the elderly. There are many lifts and inside the apartment there is just a small lip to the sliding balcony doors. Otherwise there are no steps in the apartment and the doorways are wide.

Sol Andalusi sits peacefully in the foothills, just outside the small, busy town of Alhaurin de la Torre. It's well situated for driving to the coast and inland destinations such as Granada, with its magnificent Alhambra and gardens; the old hillside village of Mijas, famous for its spectacular views of the coast; Ronda with its medieval bridge spanning a 500 ft gorge and much more. Seville can be reached within two hours by car or train. The local town is a few mins drive and provides bars, restaurants (which welcome small children) and cafes; tennis; open market and shopping. Malaga, often overlooked by visitors, is close and has much to offer including: the new Picasso museum, the cathedral and the Alcazaba. Aquapark, a water amusement park; Seaworld, Crocodile Park and Plaza Mayor with cafes, shops and cinema showing English films, and an 18 hole golf course are all within short driving distance. Transport is provided by Sol Andalusi to the coast and Malaga.

nice days in sunny Andalusia

Our hope was to catch some sun before the winter and to see as much as possible from Andalusia. As we don't like to travel form hotel to hotel, we decided to stay at Sol Andalusi and rented the appartment from Miyuki and David Pleece. Our expectations were more than matched. The appartment was clean, fully equipped with nice furniture and technical gadgets :-)).
So coming back from our excursions was alays like coming home!
We'll be back!

I stayed in the apartment for two weeks end september and it was great. The complex was quiet and very relaxing. The apartment is modern, clean and includes everything that is needed. The owner was very helpful. I would definitely recommend it to other people.

1st class holiday in a 1st class apartment/resort

We ( German couple with 15 years old son) just returned from our 2 weeks holiday in one of the apartments. The only bad thing to say is that these two weeks were not long enough! apartment and resort were even better than we expected following the positive description. From the beginning to the end we had a very nice contact to the owner couple. They even gave us an especially written summary with many useful hints for our stay. All is absolutely well maintained (quite new) and clean. The equipment inside the apartment is absolutely fine. The resort is quiet, but especially the pool is also good for smaller children.
We enjoyed having breakfast on the huge balcony, staying lazy at the pool, but also using Sol Andalusi as a platform which is very well located for trips to Malaga, Granada, Sevilla, ...
You should hire a car, because the resort is a little outside from Malaga. The climate there is even better than directly at the coast, which is about 15 min away (by car).
We had a wonderful holiday and because the region offers so much to see, we surely will book again a holiday in this apartment.

The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Would be nice, the piscina cubierta and gym could be opened during siesta.
