Apartments for couples and families,close to lake and beach,disabled facilities

Our renovated Andalucian Cortijo provides a luxury roof terrace apartment which has a king size bedroom , luxury walk-in shower room, walk-in wardrobes, lounge (with sofa bed) diner with kitchenette.opening out onto a large private terrace with a private bbq and furniture for your comfort.

Also two poolside apartments comprising of a bedroom with twin beds or a double bed ,shower room, open plan lounge (with sofa bed) diner with kitchenette opening onto the pool terrace. Sleeps up to 4 people.

Finally two one bedroom ensuites (studios). one has disabled facilities. Each comprise of one bedroom and private bathroom with tea and coffee making facilities and access to a communal kitchen if required.

All apartments have been designed with luxury in mind with private terraces and patios for a fresco dining watching the stunning sunset over the mountains.We have a heated pool,brand new hot tub and a games area. New is free WIFI and an ipod docking station(in roof terrace and poolsides)

there are two self contained bedroom en suites that are both beautiful. The first has disabled facilites with a ramp up to the bedroom and a nice size bedroom with either a double bed or twins depending on your personal preference.The large bathroom has a open shower with plenty of space.In the room is a kettle and a fridge and right next door is a kitchen that a wheelchair can fit through just check with us on the size of the opening of the room as all chairs are different.Outside is a lovely private patio area overlooking the olives groves and the pool area. the second bedroom ensuite has a beautiful covered patio totally private with garden furniture to relax and enjoy the al fresco dining and sunsets.There are twin beds or a double depending on your preference and a bathroom with a power shower and there are the best egyptian cotten towels and sheets and even dressing gowns.In the room is a kettle,toaster and a fridge and you have access to a seperate kitchen and bbq area.

Iznajar is extremely popular for tourists as within a 5 minutes drive radius you can be in all of the Andalucian Provinces,Cordoba,Malaga,Seville and Granada making it easy to tour all the wonderful cities but located in a most amazing area and the main A92 motorway is only 10 minutes away,known as 'The Crossroads To Andalucia'.

When you arrive home after a long day touring it is pure bliss to sink into our jacuzzi with a glass of wine and enjoy the heated pool.

Iznájar is a village clinging to the sides of a hill, the remains of a Moors castle at the top looks out over a huge shimmering lake, created as a reservoir some thirty years ago.The beach at Iznájar has white sand and is a perfect spot for sunbathing, swimming and relaxing and there is a lovely beach bar serving food and drinks!If you want to see more of the white washed villages and really get into tapas and life in Real Spain you can visit many including Ronda,Priego De Cordoba,Luque and Baena where the olive oil is made.

Our beautiful villa is decorated to the highest of standard and is a fully licensed Casa Rural inspected from the Analucian tourist board The Junta De Andalucia.Our license number is CR/CO/00320 that we proudly display for all our guests to see.

We offer the most unique facilities including our wonderful heated pool,large hot tub,games area and now new for 2012 Free WIFI to all of our guests.All the apartments have quality in mind and offer the best bed linen and mattress toppers for your comfort and we supply all top of the range towels for the bathroom and christy dressing gowns,perfect to slip on after a relax in the hot tub watching the sunset.

To help you on your packing there is a hair dryer in each apartment and we supply a welcome pack for your arrival so you can unpack and rewind immediately.

There is English/French/German and Spanish tv in all of the apartments and also a dvd player with a selection of dvd's to borrow free of charge.If you want to bring dvds with you also please do.

We also have a cd player in each apartment for your music and there is music channels on the television for you too.

Our wonderful villa has a large drive for your free car parking and also only 15 minutes walk away is a fanastic tapas bar called Los Caminos serving cheap drinks and great value tapas,hot and cold and also a range of pizzas and freshly cooked spit roast chickens on a Sunday.

We are located in a perfect position being able to walk to bars which is great for inland Andalucia and also if you want a taxi to go out we can arrange this for you at any time.Within 10 minutes drive radius of our apartments are an aray of many restaurants and shops too so anything you need feel free to ask as we are here to help.

In the area are so many activities for you to do including horse riding,pamper days,beauty treatments and a full selection of Adventure Sports to choose from depending on your preference.If you want any type of activity organising then do ask and i will organise this for you.

Iznajar is only 5 minutes from Casa Pino Solo and there is the largest lake and beach in Andalucia.This is the nost beautiful place to explore and get amazing photos and it is wonderful to be able to have the beach and not be near the coastal crowds.Iznajar is a very special tourist place and nearby are many different white washed villages offering different history andthings to see and do that are not covered in the Andalucian tourist books.

Ski:

Sierra Nevada Ski resort is one hour and 20 minutes away and very easy to drive to.There is also a company that will take you skiing if prefered.

Great little place

We had a wonderful week at Casa Pina Solo. Nigel was fantastic and was forever willing to help in any way. We have already emailed all our friends in Australia and told them this is the best place in Southern Spain. We are currently staying in Valencia at another Villa. It costs twice as much as Casa Pina Solo and has no where near the service or charm.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

We loved Casa Pino Solo and Iznajar!

When we travel with our family, we prefer to stay at family-owned homes, condos and apartments. We have enjoyed a richer, more authentic experience in all of the countries and towns we have visited staying in these family-owned dwellings. Hands down, Lisa and Nigel were the warmest and most attentive hosts we have ever had the opportunity to know. Casa Pino Solo combines in-house amenities (fireplace, duvets, well-equipped bathrooms) with all you might want on the exterior (beautiful vistas, high end hot tub, heated pool, comfortable gathering places) Were it not for Lisa's informative emails to my first inquiry, I doubt we would have found this jewel in Andalusia. The guide books direct everyone to the major cities. Lisa and Nigel helped us to see charming Iznajar, the wonderful Nuñez de Prado Olive Oil Factory in Baena, picture perfect Zuheros and Ronda, and countless area attractions. We drove to Granada to sightsee and ski, visited Gibraltar, and enjoyed scuba diving the Costa del Sol. We saw and did a great deal while keeping it relaxed on our vacation. Kudos to Lisa and Nigel for creating an amazing resort in Iznajar!

relaxing stay in Andalucia

Casa Pino Solo was a great place to stay.
In fact, despite the many beautiful locations nearby, we often just stayed at 'home' and enjoyed the pool, the sun and the brand new hot tub. It was a very relaxing place to stay, Nigel and Lisa are the best hosts you can wish for. They take their time to inform and help you with anything. Especially the driving instructions were excellent and very clear.
You do need a car, the roads are not suited too well for going for a walk.
We found Iznajar and the lake also very nice.
We had a very pleasant stay and will be back!

A week in Paradise

Our stay at Casa Pina Sole was as perfect as it could be. Our hosts Nigel and Lisa went out of their way to accommodate us, even welcoming us with a bottle of wine and some breakfast food since we would not have had time to go grocery shopping. The place itself is immaculate and beautifully maintained. It was such a pleasure to be out hiking or visiting during the day and then come home to a swim, a soak in the stunning top of the line hot tub, and then to dinner on the terrace. The surrounding hills are beautiful and the Isnajar reservoir is a shining jewel in the area. Words can hardly express my deep appreciation for the place that Nigel and Lisa have created; truly a top notch place at an affordable price. I would not only recommend Casa Pina Solo; I would love to come back. It rests in my memory as one of the best places of rest and relaxation I have ever experienced.

The cleanest best well equipt apartment ever!!!!

I recently had a 5 day stay at casa pino solo having found it on the internet.I drove there and was greeted by nigel & lisa.they were very warming and informative of the great facilities availabe on site.the heated pool was very clean warm and inviting.the brand new jacuzzi was a real treat.the rooms are very clean & well apointed with tv, tea making facilities, large fridge & en-suite bathrooms.casa pino solo is in a great location for site seeing & there are 3 local traditional spanish bars not far away.I would recomend casa pino solo to any one
