Additional information about rental rates

  • The prices are for 5 people. An additional person increases the price by $ 100 per week. For the Easter, Pentecost and Christmas/New Years times, a minimum rental of 2 weeks is due. Included in the price, you will find an electricity allowance of $35 per week. At checkout, an extra charge for electricity only occurs if your consumption was higher than the sum of your allowances. The final cleaning costs are $ 130.
    All prices are plus 6% sales tax and 5% tourist tax. For the reservation, a pre-payment of 20% is required.
    The security deposit of $1,000 and the remaining rent are due 4 weeks before your arrival.
    The monthly rent (=4 weeks) during the high season (October 1st to April 30th) is $3,950. Monthly rents during the off-season are available upon request.
  • Included in the rental price is the usage of bed sheets, towels and pool care, garden care, trash collection, TV, internet access, telephone fees for local conversations and normal water consumption. For long-distance conversations, we recommend an inexpensive calling card that you can either use through a toll-free telephone number in the villa or also while on-the-go.
  • We would also be happy to connect you with one of the nearby marinas at Cape Harbour or Tarpon Point for the daily/weekly rent of an insured boat or a jet ski of your choice with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico (without locks).

In the center you will find the BOSE® Lifestyle home theater and a 46' HDTV providing flicker-free pictures while watching sports are action movies. 2 comfortable 3 person sofas provide for relaxed movie and music experiences. Music without commercials are provided through the cable digital connection. A separate room with PC, printer, fax and Wifi connection for notebooks also offers a comfortable leather chair to enjoy a good book. The open kitchen with bar has all kitchen utensils of a good quality. In the dining room that borders the kitchen, you will find space for 6 people and you will have a wonderful view of the pool facilities and the lake. Another dining room offers a good area for a formal dinner. The pool deck with 1,130 sqft has a spacious gas grill, ceiling fan, a dining table for 6 people and 4 chairs for sunbathing in an absolutely southern exposure and without vis-a-vis.

Arrival: There are a variety of inexpensive flights available from the US/Europe to the South-West Florida International Airport (RSW) in Ft. Myers. Furthermore, for international travels, there are airports in Orlando (MCO) and Miami (MIA) (both about 3 hours from the Villa Sands Lake). For international travelers it is more advantageous to rent a car while from abroad. A credit card is required for the booking of the rental car. Exact route description from the airport to the Villa Sands Lake will be given to you by our house management with your travel documents.

Safety standards: The villa was finished in 2002 and renovated in the 2nd half of 2007 and completely newly furnished. In December 2007, the villa was rented for the first time. There are also hurricane shutters and a hurricane kit for severe weather, as required by the local authorities. The installation of the hurricane shutters is done by the local house management upon announcement of such measures by the local authorities. Liability for valuables is given completely to the tenant.

Climate: In South West Florida, the sun shines practically the whole year round. In the Sunshine State, as Florida is called, there is a mild and sub-tropic climate that can be recommended for all seasons. Fall, winter and spring offer day temperatures ranging between the 60s and 80s Fahrenheit. During the summer, day temperatures can reach values between 80s and high 90s Fahrenheit. During the summer months, the sea and pool temperatures also reach values in the high 80s Fahrenheit. During the winter months, the pool is solar heated so that comfortable temperatures are maintained and additional electricity costs are saved.
