We offer two accommodation possibilities: (1) Nice furnished double rooms with ensuite bathrooms, WC & rich breakfast. For your convenience there is also a large sitting room with a cosy lounge, a fireplace and a satelite TV + DVD player. The double rooms in the ground floor have a private terrace. (2) A beautiful 65qm big apartment with two bedrooms, a living room, kitchenette, TV (4-5 sleeps, breakfast optional), which has additionally a big private terrace.

In a distance of 2 km there is the lake of Bracciano (60 square km) with very clear water and sailing and windsurfing opportunities, whereas in a distance of 16 km there are the thermal baths of Stigliano (wellness, mud baths, inhalation, massages, physiotherapy, beauty treatments). The Mediterranean Sea is as well quite near (16 km). A riding ground is nearby. Rome can easily be reached by train in 45 min. Transport from and to airport can be arranged.

  • The terrace, the lounge and the garden can likewise used by you. It is possible to wash also your laundry in the washing machine. We offer safe parking possibilities in the front of the house, our property is secured and fenced. We live directly locally and can help you from there with our advice. In case of the accomodation in a double room you can of course also use the guest kitchen in the souterrain (using gas cooker against reimbursement of costs: €5 /day). Condition is however that this is shifted after use again into a cleaned condition. In Bracciano there are however many possibilities of supplying yourself with fresh Pizza or other meals. Apart from that fact there is also a set of nice restaurants in the old part of town.

Arriving to Rome: From the stations in Bracciano, Cesano or Ladispoli you can easily reach Rome by train. With the car the sea can be reached within 20 minutes, the lake of Bracciano within 8 minutes. The station is 2 km far away (Transfer could be ensured), a single ticket to Rome costs 2.30, the 75 minutes ticket within Rome costs 1 euro, the daily ticket 6 euros, which includes trip to/from Rome & all types of transport in the center. There are possibly also group cards. We hold a selection of tickets ready we could provide to you.

Distances: Are you coming to Italy by train or by airplane? In both cases we would suggest the booking of a rented car, at autoeurope or avis you get a good car for about 200 Euro / week. This enables you to see more of the surroundings (lake, sea, romantic cities nearby) Furthermore we offer a transfer to/at the airports of Rome Ciampino and Fiumicino for a moderate fee. If you are coming by train (Termini) you have to catch Metro A to station Valle Aurelia and then get the regional express (FR3) in direction Cesano / Viterbo / Bracciano. We can pick you up there.

Es gab viele individuelle Tipps für Ausflüge und eine sehr liebevolle Betreuung der Gäste. Die Atmosphäre mit den anderen Gästen beim Frühstück war sehr familiär.

Super Betreuung

Sehr schöne landlich gelegene Villa ca 35 km von Rom entfernt. Auto oder Mietwagen (hatten wir nicht)sind auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Die ca 2,5 km nach Bracciano und zurück sind zwar zu Fuss zu schaffen, aber nach einem Tag in Rom mehr als anstrengend. Das ist sauber und gepflegt. Etwas störend empfanden wir den manchmal zu hörenden Fluglärm, welcher aber abends endete so dass die Nachtruhe gesichert war. Dieses "kleine" Manko machte Fam. M. aber durch ihre super Betreuung auf jeden Fall wett! Sowohl durch die vielen Tipps, das leckere Abendessen, die Chauffeurdienste und nicht zuletzt die frischen Eier von den eigenen Hühnern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, würden die Villa Bracciano auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und auch gerne selber noch einmal Urlaub dort machen

Kleines Paradies in der Nähe von Rom

Wir waren eine Woche lang in Italien und haben uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt in der Villa Bracciano wohlgefühlt.

Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb von Bracciano auf dem Land, ein (Miet-)Auto ist daher anzuraten. Die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet, die Betten bequem und die Ausstattung des Bades modern. im Aufenthaltsraum gibt es deutsches SAT-TV, falls man abends doch mal die Nachrichten schauen möchte sehr praktisch!

Bracciano ist ein nettes Örtchen, wir haben dort auch schöne Restaurants getestet und waren immer wieder positiv überrascht.

Das morgendliche Frühstück ist vollkommen ausreichend mit Aufschnitt, Käse, Ei, Marmelade, Tee, Kaffee, Fruchtsaft. Also wesentlich besser, als das was man von italienischen Pensionen erwartet.

Die Bahnverbindung ins Zentrum nach Rom ist gut, wir haben die Zeit dazu genutzt, um unsere Reiseführer zu studieren und eine Tour auszuarbeiten.

Die Gastgeber, ein deutsche Ehepaar, haben uns das Gefühl gegeben gut aufgehoben zu sein und haben sich immer um unsere Belange gekümmert. Das wir auf deutsch kommunizieren konnten ist ein riesen Vorteil gegenüber italienischen Pensionen!

Alles in allem: Note 1! Wir kommen wieder!
