Our Restaurant 'Valea Verde': At our cosy little restaurant you will also find the opportunity to relax with a glass of wine or some local spirits after your meal in front of the large open fireplace or enjoy the sunset out on the large porch of the house. Children will find a beautiful playground with a large miniture Saxon fortified church (9x9m) with three 2,5m high watchtowers in the back of the large grounds (1,6ha) of the Valea Verde.
Horseback Riding in Transylvania: Transilvania, and especially the area around Cund, is a true paradise for riders. In this part of the „land beyond the forest“ beautiful winding ways through old forests and endless fields of open land offer perfect conditions for exploring this beautiful part of the world. We offer trail- and carriage rides for beginners and experienced riders alike. Our well trained and friendly seven horses are looked after by highly experienced and qualified staff. Since 1997 we work with our mainly locally bred horses and are very conscious about species-appropriate keeping and care of our horses. According to your skills we can arrange individual itineraries for riding lessons on our training paddock or for guided trail rides that allow you to experience and discover the valleys and hill tops on a horseback…
Cycling, Excursions and Art- & Craftclasses: For Art-& Craftlovers we also offer workshops and art-classes in our own traditional workshops. We also offer cycling tours in Transylvania with our brand new quality touring bikes (Kreidler St. Tropez - Made in Germany). We have several day trips planned out for you or can arrange to have your luggage transported on longer trips. As a fully licensed tour operator we also offer custom made holiday packages for our guests: we can organise day trips, historical tours or complete guided or unguided tours within Romania! Should you be interested in such individual itineraries please don´t hesitate to contact us.. Furthermore we can offer bus transport for up to 15 Persons in our new (June 2008) Minibus or one of our hire cars! Please ask us for a quote!
