Vinarós is a typical fishing city surrounded by large orange plantations. Vinarós has about 20000 residents and is located directly by the Mediterranean Sea between Tarragona and Castellón. The city itself has about a 2 km long beach. The coast consists of romantic pebble bays with nearby holiday homes. Vinarós does not have any "tourist high rises" and is thus a comfortable exception on the Spanish Mediterranean coast.
