We strive to supply our guests with comprehensive information about all aspects of their stay and leisure activities. Be it shopping, restaurants or 3D cinema, theme park or winter sports, public pools or horseback riding, golf course or museum, we are pleased to support our guests with all they need to know. What we don`t know we`ll find out. We will send you links to the most beautiful hiking trails and other interesting destinations even before your arrival, so you can prepare to make best use of your time. Try us, our recommendations are non-committal.
Our foreign guests use the mill as a restorative centre and base for excursions in a wider circle. Day trips to Cologne are popular, to visit the Dom ( Cathedral ), zoo or the multitude of museums, ranging from historic collections like the Roman Germanic Museum to modern art collections like Museum Ludwig. Frankfurt is another frequent destination, with the Senckenberg Museum ( Natural History Museum ), zoo and Palmengarten.

Ski:
Are you interested in winter sports? You can get it all in the area, from many downhill slopes to hundreds of miles of cross country ski trails, ice skating, whatever you like.
Golf:
Only 3km from the mill construction of Sassenhausen golf course has started in June 2009. In September the driving range will be opened. In the next few months initially a short course with 6 holes is to be completed.
