Your vacation-home is situated above Mosteiros with a marvellous view over the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the outlook and wonderful sunsets over the ocean. You reach Mosteiros in a slowly 15-minutes-walk. The house has its own terrace, a garden with furniture and a possibility to barbecue. Your home is very cosy and practical furnished - a lot of untreated, natural wood was used. It is divided into a living-/dining-area, sleeping-area, bathroom with shower/toilet and a well equipped kitchenette. If a cool evening should occur - no problem - the house is equipped with heaters. In your vacation-home you find a basic selection of the most needed foodstuffs making sure that you can enjoy your vacation immediately after your arrival. Besides coffee, tea and several canned foods you find butter, eggs, cheese and delicious wholemeal bread. Regarding drinks you can choose between mineral-water, juice, milk, beer and different wines. You pay only what you have consumed by the end.

Casa Safira is located on the most western part of the island, in one of the most beautiful villages on São Miguel - Mosteiros. The location from the house (above Mosterios) gives you the wonderful view over the ocean and the village, in which you can find a beach, natural swimming pools, restaurants and several supermarkets. In the near from your vacation home you can find the unique volcano-crater-lakes of Sete Cidades and the hot water pools from Ginetes. Also very interesting is a trip to the village of Furnas, the crater-lake Lagoa do Fogo, the main town Ponta Delgada and the wonderful village of Vila Franca do Campo.

Ein wunderbarer Standort für einen ersten, lange geplanten und erholsamen Azoren-Urlaub. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber und die Vermieterin/nen überaus sympathisch. So wurden wir am ersten Tag gleich per Rundfahrt mit dem Ort und den lokalen Bademöglichkeiten bekannt gemacht. Darüber hinaus gab es Tipps zum Einkaufen und Essengehen. Wir haben uns sehr umsorgt gefühlt und irgendwie wie zu Hause.

Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft. Im Garten sitzend hat man einen direkten Blick aufs Meer und dadurch, dass die Gärten der drei nebeneinander liegenden Häuschen durch kleine Hecken voneinander getrennt sind, ist man doch ganz für sich. Empfehlenswert für Individualisten, die die Natur genießen wollen und auf "Hotelkomfort" verzichten können.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt und haben sehr schöne 2 Wochen auf Sao Miguel verbracht.

Traumurlaub abseits vom Pauschaltourismus

Wenn man auf der Suche nach einem Geheimtipp in Sachen Inseltourismus in Europa ist,kommt man an der Azoreninsel Sao Miguel einfach nicht vorbei.
Die sehr herzliche und persöhnliche Betreuung durch unsere Vermieter Gudrun und Janine,die traumhafte Lage des Grundstücks an der Steilküste von Mosteiros,der herrliche Ausblick aus dem Schlafzimmer auf den wilden Atlantik,Brötchenservice zum Frühstück ;Herz was willst Du mehr.
Unbedingt nutzen sollte man auch den Grillplatz,da der Atlantik eine unvorstellbare Fischvielfalt bietet.
Wir waren mit unserem Leihauto(unbedingt empfehlenswert)auf der ganzen Insel unterwegs,Aber gefallen hat es uns in Mosteiros am besten.
Eine dicke Empfehlung für alle die auf alle Outdooraktivitäten und wilde unberührte Landschaft stehen.
