Perfect for our vacation in the Mackinaw area

We really enjoyed our stay here in this cozy log cottage on Paradise Lake. The cottage itself was very clean and well-stocked. Although the kitchen and bathroom were a bit on the small side (as expected), the dining room and living area had plenty of room to spread out and relax. There is an outdoor patio as well as a fire pit near the very shallow wading area with soft, sandy bottom which was the perfect place to go splashing around with our two year old -- even at the edge of the pier, it was only up to his chest. The location was great as well; it was only about six miles from Mackinaw City.
A small heads-up... there isn't much sound-proofing between rooms, so we had to be pretty quiet when the little ones were falling asleep, but it was still much better than a hotel in that aspect! Also, we loved having so many appliances provided, but did have some issues with the toaster taking a long time and toasting unevenly.
Thanks so much for the use of your cabin; we'd definitely recommend it to travelers in the Mackinaw area looking for something a bit more private and spacious than a hotel room.
