Golf: 18-hole course of the Föhr Golf club 2 km away. Surrounded by dog roses, rhododendron and the forest, this complex established in 1926 is one of the most beautiful golf courses in northern Germany. The golf course was expanded in 2008 by 9 holes and can be golfed on with 27 holes from 2009. Extensive tournament offers also for guests. Start times are not necessary. Perfectly maintained and best training possibilities on the driving range and the chipping green, putting green and the exercise area. Good and well-provided pro shop. Teenagers are welcome, youth tournaments are offered. The course has a quiet, exclusive charm and not the 'touristy atmosphere' of South European golf courses. Without snow it is possible to golf year-round on summer green. Also the club house is open during the winter months.
