Luckenwalde is situated in the south of Berlin in the glacial valley on the edge of the Fläming. The river Nuthe and plenty of small waterways pass through the town and its environs. The medieval market tower can already be seen from afar.
A special architectural sight is the former factory for hats of Erich Mendelsohn from 1924.
The Fläming Skate track circles Luckenwalde and Jüterbog and attracts skaters from all over the world. The impeccable asphalt path leads through beautiful scenery. Generally the path is about 3 metres wide, which is reduced to 2 metres in some places where it is an extended cycle path. Cyclists can also use it.
