About John Akagi
Teacher and practicing artist. It was not by design to transform our spare room into a rental, but typical of a teacher, wanted to lend a helping hand improve the quality of life and make a positive impact on the lives of others. I built a guest room for visiting family and friends, but it became a way to provide affordable accommodations for vacationers and sincere desire to make your Hawaiian vacation experience a memorable one.
John Akagi purchased this studio in 2010
Why John Akagi chose Keaau
Many rental properties are operated by owners living on the mainland, many without in depth knowledge of the lands and people of Hawaii. Because the owner is on property, Your concerns and questions will be addressed immediately with the spirit of aloha.
What makes this studio unique
It's always nice to have a quiet place to retreat to after a busy day of taking in new sites. We can talk story and share our traveling experiences. We will do our best to answer any questions you may have; but if you desire total privacy, we can accommodate that as well. Aloha!
