Lake George's northern basin is ideal for boating, swimming, tubing, waterskiing, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. The town beach, with white sandy bottom, picnic area, childrens playground, beach volleyball and new bathrooms with changing rooms and showers is less than 1/2 mile away. Free public boat launch and boat rental marina are also less than a mile away. Shopping, restaurants, sports bar, grocery store, museums, skiing and hiking trails are close by.

Come stay at our beautiful manor and enjoy a relaxing, fun filled vacation, making memories that will last a lifetime! This property is perfect for large families, groups of friends, reunions, retreats and holiday gatherings.

'Lake George is without comparison, the most beautiful water I ever saw; formed by a contour of mountains into a basin... finely interspersed with islands, its water limpid as crystal, and the mountain sides covered with rich groves... down to the water-edge: here and there precipices of rock to checker the scene and save it from monotony.'

-- Thomas Jefferson, May 31, 1791

Why Tom chose Ticonderoga

Our Family and friends have spent many summers vacationing on Lake George. Over the years we have always dreamed of purchasing a home that would accomodate our group and offer a location that enabled us to boat, fish.swim, hike, water ski, canoe, kayak, ice skate, snow mobile, star gaze, make s'mores or just light a fire and see the breathtaking scenery or view the spectacular sunrises and sunsets that this location offers! Our family purchased this manor to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning a vacation home on this incredible lake.

What makes this estate unique

The moment we first saw this home we knew it would standout. It has the appearance of a stately manor on the outside and all the modern comforts of a first class hotel on the inside, the views from the porch and upper decks are outstanding and Lake Georges Northern basin is ideal for all water related activities. The Manor offers great versatility for guests regardless of age. Once you step foot in our home and on our 9 acre property including boat dock I know you will fall in love with it also!

Weekend at the Manor! That was our title for the weekend. This home has the WOW effect! I spent 2 nights with 11 other women, a girls weekend. I also had both my daughters with me and we have so many memories from this weekend! Our ages ranged from 23 to 64 and everyone was happy and relaxed. We thought about going for a drive but we all agreed that this house was beautiful and we wanted to enjoy the house, therefore, we did not leave until our stay was over. The manor is beautiful and has such character. Every room is warm and cozy. The view is breathtaking! The house is so clean, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms spectacular, it has all brand new amenities.

We cooked, talked, laughed and had such a relaxing two days. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything you needed. The owner,Tom, was always so responsive and checked on us upon checkin and post our stay. He answered every question quickly. Literally the owners have thought of everything and it is just perfect!

I literally cannot wait to return I want to sit on the porch, take in the beautiful view and dream. I could go on and on about this home and my advice would be don't look anywhere else because The Lake George Manor has it all! I can't wait to plan our next trip there!

Awesome Valentine's Day Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 4 couples looking for a quiet place to get away. This house had everything we needed and more! We enjoyed movies and took advantage of the fireplace. The views of the lake are amazing and the house is immaculate with many amenities. The owner Tom is very responsive to e-mails and made some great suggestions for us for dinner. We look forward to returning in the summer with our children!

Our New Years Extravaganza at Lake George Manor

  • 5 of 5

Lake George Manor is impeccable. The stone fireplace in the luxurious living room was the focal point of relaxation. We lounged around it for hours. We dined for hours. We day tripped the short drive up to spectacular Montreal. We popped over to Burlington, VT. We sojourned to Saratoga for their First Night Celebration, New Years Eve, with Fireworks at Midnight. Our New Years Day Dinner was superb as the kitchen was perfect for serving our group with all the modern amenities one could desire. We couldn't have been more comfortable. Wifi, which is extremely important to us, was 5G and worked flawlessly. The attention to detail the owners have displayed is astounding. They even have a printer. All the recessed lights have dimmers to provide the perfect atmosphere. The beds and bathrooms were lavish, the water pressure in the showers were delicious and refreshing. I don't know what more I could say. In fact I have said too much. The whole experience can be summed up in one palindromic word..."WOW"

Our trip to the Lake George Manor was incredible! The view of the lake was breathtaking and the kids were able to go out on the lake before the winter freeze. Beautiful and spacious

  • 5 of 5

My family of 17 recently surprised me with a birthday get-together here at Lake George Manor. It is the most beautiful home with updated furniture, gorgeous kitchen (which I would love to have!), plenty of beds and each family (there were 4) had their own private suite with bedrooms and bathrooms. The dining room was ample and we were all able to sit down for our meals at the same time. The kids, ages 10 months to 8 years (there are 9 of them) had plenty of room to run around. My husband and I arrived on Friday, it was a beautiful day and we took advantage of the canoes.....a first for all of us. We had so much fun and the kids loved walking around in the water. On Saturday, it rained all day, but since the house is so big, the kids had plenty to keep them occupied including all the different board games and books that are provided. There is also free wifi, which they really took advantage of. There is a wide screen TV in very bedroom and in the spacious living room. From what I understand, there are many outdoor activities to participate in and they have a net stationed outside to play volleyball. There's a fire pit in the back to make s'mores and hiking trails. From the porch you can see the beautiful Lake George and since the leaves are turning, it was picture perfect. By far, this was my best birthday ever and we are considering doing this again next year. Our families live in NY, Mass, and we live in Fl. so finding a house to accommodate us is very important.

Wonderful family reunion

  • 5 of 5

Lake George Manor was just perfect for our family reunion. We were 18 people ranging from 10 months to 82 and everyone fitted easily around that huge and absolutely beautiful dining room table… wow !

We found the house perfect with a scenic view of the mountains and lake. The hallway pocket doors on the 2nd floor provided so much privacy, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the charm of an old house completely renovated with much taste. Loved, loved loved the front porch.

We went canoeing, hiking, smores, fires in the backward and much more. Everyone had a good time, what a wonderful weekend!
