Hiking:
Enjoy the wonderful mountain world and discover some of the countless hiking paths nearby. Hikers can start out right outside of the apartment or go higher with a cable car and then start the tour from a mountain station. Cozy snack stations and lodges invite you to relax. It goes up into the high mountain nature park of the Zillertal Alps. Countless three-thousand meter mountains jut out in untouched nature. Of course, hiking guides offer their professional help for simple to demanding hikes and mountain tours. A visit to the Spannagel caves in the Hintertux glacier is unique. The natural caves give a direct view of the inside of the mountain (guided tour, about 500 m long). Another tip is a visit to the highest farming museum, it is located in a lunar caustic lodge at 1740 m above sea level.

Our holiday apartment 'Am Winterhaus' is located in a stunning location for all types of adventures. Bike with a mountain bike directly from the house to the highest mountain pastures in order to get a view of the overpowering panorama. For adventurers, you can go canyoning, cave trekking, ice climbing, flying fox, rafting and tandem paragliding. Action clubs offer professional help by well trained guides. The athletic offer is rounded off with tennis court, shooting stations, bowling alleys, squash courts, fitness studios and swimming pools. Children will love our holiday region. The play arena is open every Saturday and offers an indoor experience world on 1000 m2 for children from 2 - 16 years of age. Horseback riding, Kraxel-Maxel-camp, sledding, professional ski camp, children festival, glacier park, there is something always happening.
Culinary and night life:
The spacious eat-in kitchen from our holiday apartment invites you to cook together and be cosy. However, there are also multiple restaurants and guest farms with Austria and international cuisine nearby and in Mc Tux you can enjoy fast food. The nearest grocery store is about 1 km away. We are happy to offer a bread roll service. The night life in our resort region offers something for everyone. Celebrate in the surrounding discos, pubs and bars. The closest theater is located in Mayrhofen. A visit to one of the concerts in the national music chapel is traditional - or a theatre visit to the national stage. Cosy moments can also be spent with different balls and festivals in the many clubs and heritage clubs.
Ski:
Our holiday apartment is located directly on the ski slope of the Eggalmbahn of the ski region Zillertal 3000 and offers the optimal beginning for the entire family in order to be able to enjoy a cosy ski day. The Hintertux glacier is Austria's unique year-round ski region and can be reached with a ski bus or with a car in 15 minutes. The ski & glacier world of Zillertal 3000 has 227 km of the best made slopes with powder snow from October to May. A difference in elevation of 1750 m can be mastered on the 12 km long valley descent. For children older than 3 years of age, there is a ski kindergarten and of course baby lifts and other equipment for children in all ski regions. The BetterPark is the meeting point for snowboarders and skiers. Halfpipes, superpipes and jumps from easy to hard provide for challenges. The sport bus will bring you to Tux and back every 15 minutes from Vorderlanersbach free of charge.
