Sehr schöne Wohnung mit tollem Ausblick

Ersteinmal vorneweg: wir hatten einen sehr netten, ausführlichen Emailkontakt auf Deutsch, völlig unproblematische Überweisung des Mietpreises in 1/3 + 2/3-Schritten.
Am Flughafen Funchal wartete schon unser Vermieter Marco, er brachte uns zur Mietwagenstation und wir fuhren zusammen im Convoi zur Wohnung. Vor Ort hat er uns alles gezeigt. Alles ist sehr sauber, alle nötigen Küchengeräte + Waschmaschine sind vorhanden, Handtücher, Betten etc. alles ok.
Die Wohnung liegt ruhig gelegen oberhalb der Statue Christo Rei 5 Fußminuten entfernt. Direkt an der Statue ist eine kleine Bar. Von der Statue aus geht es per Seilbahn an den Steinstrand. Nächster Supermarkt ist ca. 10 Fußminuten entfernt. Ein Mietauto ist generell sehr empfehlenswert für Madeira, die Autobahn ist innerhalb von 5 Fahrminuten zu erreichen. Nach Funchal oder die Ostküste sind es ca. 15 bis 20 Fahrmin.
Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen: genügend Platz, sauber, gute Anbindung, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, landestypisch.

- sehr gepflegte, landestypisch eingerichtete Ferienwohnung
- gut ausgestattete Küche
- grandioser Blick zum Meer und in die nähere Umgebung
- ruhige Lage abseits der Touristenströme
- sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Vermieter
- Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte zu Fuß in 10min. erreichbar
- Mietauto empfehlenswert
- gute Anbindung an Schnellstraße um die Insel kennen zu lernen
- waren zu dritt, eine Woche im Mai 2009, würden jederzeit wieder kommen
