EL CORTIJO” – the place to enjoy real La Palma

My husband and I have been visiting La Palma every year since 2008. We always stay in EL CORTIJO. The cottage (two antique Canarias style buildings) is located on the hill edge with enormous view on the ocean and greenery around. Since its position is south west residents can enjoy sun all the day round as well as romantic sunsets. Garden is quite big, tastefully arranged, equipped with necessary amenities.
The property is very clean and beautifully furnished having in mind as well as residents’ comfort as their esthetical needs. In our opinion the big asset of the house is fireplace, providing not only heat but also special ambiance.
The nearest village – Santo Domingo de Garafia is easy accessible by car and walk. People can find shopping and dinning places there. One of the restaurants – El Bernegal is excellent, providing Canarias and international cuisine.
The owners are very open, helpful; know a lot about wonders of La Palma.
The peacefulness, easy access to the interesting trekking tracks around and cottage ambiance make EL CORTIJO exceptional place for spending holidays.
