Award wining custom home builder born in Tampa, raised in Carmel Indiana.
Mr. Brattain purchased this 1938 home situated on a double lot with the thought of scraping the structure in order to build two new homes for re-sale but quickly broke his golden rule and that was falling in love with the property. What started off as an estimated 6 month project has turned into a 2 and a half year labor of intense love. The estimated total completion of Mr. Brattain's vision is early 2016 by adding a fire pit and swimming pool.
Part of the décor is inspired by long nights as child watching old movies with his departed grandmother and other spaces, by the initials of his grandfather, RL. The only example of residential art deco architectural to remain in Gulfport, was saved by a passion to remember two very wonderful people... And as a result, those travelers fortunate enough to stumble across this gem, will see first hand what love can create.
