A duplex that has three bedrooms with double beds in each room. Two full baths, one of those is off the bedroom. Large kitchen with a dishwasher. Large dining room that will seat six. Front loader washer and dryer. A beautiful lanai that opens fully to a beautiful pool surrounded with privacy and lush landscaping. Wi-fi connection. Barbecue grill. Large screen tv in the living room, dvd player and stereo.
The place is bigger than it looks from the outside, all photos pretty accurate. About 1 block from beach, short walk. The best part of this place is the back yard and the glassed in patio area. You can sit on the patio (a/c if you want) and open the sliding doors all the way and you are about 10 feet from pool - so nice to sit with roof over you and watch kids in pool. Pool not huge but big enough for a family. Note: pool and backyard are shared by attached duplex but manager lives there and was never outside when we were there so we had whole backyard and pool to ourselves. Manager (Pam) so nice and right there if you have any problems. Big place overall and even has pool and beach toys, noodles, towels, other and bikes to use!! Such a great island to bike on too. Place was very clean and maintained. Only issue was a smoke smell in one of the bedrooms, like cigarette smoke. It's on 69th Street in Holmes Beach in middle to north side of island. Need a car to get to restaurants but could bike there too. One supermarket on island in middle of island. Recommend going to "city" of Anna Maria, nice one street of some shops and restaurants with nice pier at end of main street on the bay side (saw dolphins there). Sandbar restaurant at other end of that street on the ocean, nice for sunsets - long wait though and they don't take reservations. A very laid back residential island with lots of beach bungalow type of buildings, even condo complexes are mostly only 2 stories high. Also try Ginny and Jane E's for breakfast or lunch - cute and unique! The island is somewhat touristy during spring break times but you can tell that there is a strong year round community also (retirees mostly but not all). Lots of families there on spring break but NOT a loud college spring break place at all, nothing open past 10 pm. Great island, loved it!

Located in Holmes Beach one of the three citites that make up all of Anna Maria Island. The house is on a short quiet street one block from the beach. The island is reputable for its charm and character with that small town feeling enjoying the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. The island offers boat charters, kayaking, sailing, biking, or rent a golf cart and go sightseeing. Those are just a few activities to mention. Restaurants vary with a wide range of dining that will satisfy all tastes from quaint cafe's to a lovely dining experience. Visit our museum and take a stroll down Pine Avenue and enjoy shopping the boutiques.
