Wonderful lakefront home....Spectacular views all year round.
Relax and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier as you enjoy a drink or for that matter dinner on the deck. This house can sleep up to 12 people with 5 bedrooms and a large sleeping area on the ground level.
You are minutes from downtown Seattle yet can walk down to the lake and take a dip from the dock if you like (please be advised the path down to the lake is steep nor is there a life guard so it is not suitable for unescorted young children).
Partial list of amenities include:
- 4 of the 5 bedrooms have lake view
- Large view deck with sitting area and dining area
- 2 indoor living rooms, both with lake views
- Gourmet kitchen with Wolf Range
- Wide open floor plan
- 2 car garage plus 2 parking spots in driveway
- 3 king sized beds
This is a very special and serene home.
I own and manage 10 different Seattle vacation rental homes. I throughly enjoy hosting people as they visit Seattle. It is a wonderful city.
Wonderful views, clean modern home with all sorts of upgrades, quiet family neighborhood, close to downtown Seattle yet feels like a world world away.
Swim in the lake from the dock (please be advised it is quite a steep walk down to the lake). Proximity to University Village Shopping Center, the University of Washington and Childrens Hospital.
This home is located in a quiet, upscale community in Seattle. We took neighborhood walks, jogs to the park a few blocks away, sat on the deck and enjoyed the distant mountain views, and utilized the spacious kitchen to cook delicious family meals. The house offers close proximity to city tourist destinations, yet a lakefront country getaway feeling. Some of our young adults even took plunges into the chilly lake just to say they had! The bald eagle mating pair soaring overhead was the greatest treat of all!
It was spotless and well-maintained.
We were in town for our son's wedding. We had our family totaling 10, plus 3 groomsmen. The house is more suitable for 10-12, and only 14 if you are counting little children in a crib etc.... Fortunately our two young children didn't mind using a sleeping bag.
This home is simply perfect for families like ours. We will long remember our wonderful visit.
This house is spectacular. It is very large and the decor and accommodations are superb. The views are too good to be true - especially on a sunny, gorgeous day which we were lucky to have. We stayed here for a girl's getaway weekend and it accommodated 10 of us perfectly.
My only complaint was the week of my trip , I did not get the communication from the property manager I had when first trying to book. It took a few repeat emails to get the info I needed (like address and access code!) and I never received the promised "welcome letter and map", even after I followed up to request it. I don't think they were really necessary, because it seemed most house rules were posted up. I just like to be thorough and have all the info I need to be a good houseguest.
Overall I would highly recommend this place! Fantastic weekend.
We stayed here during my duaghters' early Spring break. The views are really great. We happen to have great weather, and Mt. Ranier is easily seen from the balcony. The house has so much storage space and cabinetry. Everything was great. No issues whaatsoever. Easy and convenient. Great quiet neighborhood and easy to get around. Close to UNIVERSITY VILLAGE which is a real plus. Next visit to Seattle - we plan to repeat and stay here. Really great! A++++
We stayed here with our extended family of eight to see our new grandson. The views of the lake and Mt. Ranier were awesome. The house is loaded with amenities and is extremely spacious. Bob and Joe were very responsive to questions and problems (we couldn't get the fireplaces to work, simple fix). Shopping was nearby. Downtown Seattle was quick to get to.
Some suggestions -- it took a little time to figure out all the light switches, especially for the outside decks. It would be nice if these switches for the outside were labelled. A map for all the interior lights would be helpful. We could have used a few more regular glasses in the cupboard. The bathrooms could have used a few more hooks and racks for towels and the showers a shelf for shampoo, washcloths, eyeglasses, etc. These are small quibbles to a great experience.
Overall, simply outstanding.
Stayed here with our family of 12 for my son's wedding. I think we booked the best weekend in Seattle. Loved everything about this place! Joe is a pleasure to work with.
We rented the house for family that were coming in for a wedding and really enjoyed the location, the house and the views. Everything was clean and organized. The views of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier were phenomenal and the proximity to grocery stores/shopping was awesome.
There is access to the lake from a shared dock. Take advantage of going down and watching the sun rise/set, but watch out for dog droppings on your way down to the dock!
Less than 1 mile from University Village Shopping Center and Seattle Childrens Hospital
