On foot, it is 3 minutes to KaDeWe at Wittenbergplatz/Tauentzienstr./Kurfürsten Damm (5 minutes), where you have different bus and subway connections, Europe centre (5 minutes) and K.W. memorial church. Furthermore, the apartment is located in the Bavarian district 3 minutes to Victoria-Luiese Platz, one of the most beautiful squares in Berlin with a lot of sophisticated restaurants. You can also reach Fuggerstr. (connection) and Motzstr. in just a few minutes on foot.

Berlin in the Summer

Photos do not accurately show how much space there is, this was a great place for 4 adults...try finding this kinda square footage in Paris ;)

Pros:
-Owners are nearby, friendly, super accommodating, and readily available for whatever assistance they are able to give.
-Centrally located to banks, restaurants, grocery stores, bars, U-Bahn.
-Wifi included
-Full kitchen with espresso machine made breakfast really nice.
-Surprisingly private, noise was not a problem.

Cons: (these are completely relative base on your expectations)
-No Air conditioning
-Three Flights of Stairs (but who goes to Europe to avoid stairs)
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Thanks for a great stay

The apartment is very nice and nearby a metro stop. The pictures the owners put up are entirely accurate. The location was great for getting around, getting groceries, etc. The apartment was clean and supplied with towels, shampoos, coffee, and other sundries. The beds were soft and the whole place was comfortable and well-put together. We greatly enjoyed the apartment. Only issue we had was with a spotty internet connection, but the owner fixed that immediately. He and his wife are great. If we stay in West Berlin again, definitely would come back!

Das war die richtige Wahl. Die Wohnung war genau wie auf den Fotos zu erkennen: hell, freundlich,großzügig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Lage ist für Berlintouristen optimal, d.h. ruhig gelegen und sehr zentral. Die Vermieter sind sehr nette und unkomplizierte Leute. Sie sind sehr bemüht, ihren Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bereiten.

Schöne Wohnung für eine Berlin-Besichtigung

Die Wohnung entspricht genau den Angaben aus der Beschreibung, ist sehr sauber, gut gepflegt und somit sehr empfehlenswert. Auch die Vermieter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für Stadtbesichtigungen ist die Wohnung sehr zentral gelegen (U-Bahnhof beim KaDeWe nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt).
Wer mit dem Auto anreist, sollte sich vorher einen Garagenplatz über die Vermieter reservieren lassen, da es ansonsten mit dem Parken sehr schwer ist in der näheren Umgebung.

A beautiful appartement, a pleasant place, near to metro and bus station. We liked it a lot! Staying the night at a place of which you can feel secure and having the idea of being in the real life of a Berlin atmosphere.

We really recommend this place. Enjoy your stay in Berlin!
