The Kaanapali Alii has long been considered the most premiere luxury oceanfront resort on Maui located directly on the famous Kaanapali Beach! We've been fortunate to own a two bedroom suite that features one of the most prime oceanviews including the most coveted Black Rock! Our two bedroom, two bath condo offers an expansive floor plan that includes a fully applianced kitchen, ample dining room and spacious living room all featuring fabulous oceanviews. We've just completed painting our unit and upgrading our living room with a brand new sofa along with all new carpeting. We've also replaced our mattress in the master bedroom with a brand new king size bed.

We visit our condo often and enjoy Maui island living and strive to bring the same tropical ambience into our home while keeping it practical and comfortable with all the modern amenities that we've all come to expect. We do provide beach towels in our unit and beach toys.

We also offer FREE WIFI, IPod docs, CD player and flat screen tv's.

You'll appreciate the new pools and the gorgeous new fitness facility came out beautifully A short walk to Whaler's Village. The Whaler's village is an outdoor mall that has excellent variety of restaurants, galleries and museums. Located on a excellent sandy swimming beach. Great for surfing, snorkeling, and relaxing in the sun.

Great Resort

We recently stayed here with our adult sons and daughter-in-law. We loved the location and view from this unit. It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Even the Aerobed that my youngest son slept on in the living room was comfortable. It was so nice to be able to sit on the lanai comfortably and enjoy the view and the whales frolicking in the ocean. The barbeques on site were always clean and it was great to have a "Grill Master" to offer opinions and help with the grilling. The pools were beautiful and never crowded. Great to be able to go for long walks on the beach and have some really great restaurants and shopping only steps away. We did find a few things that needed some TLC in the unit such as towel racks that were loose and the table on the lanai was quite wobbly. Carpets are starting to show their age. The kitchen was well stocked except for spoons (3 teaspoons and 3 tablespoons). We still very much enjoyed our time at Kaanapali Alii and would stay here again.

WOW!!

After many trips to Kaanapali and staying at the Sheraton or the Westin we decided to try a condo....are we ever glad we did. What an amazing place - the condo was absolutley beautiful - the grounds - pool area - and ocean front were fabulous. We really enjoyed the beautiful bbq area. Very close to Whalers Village. The staff members that we meet were so helpful and friendly so a huge thank you to - Aaron, Ron, Clifford and K Noah.

To the owners...A place in paradise to be proud of. We thank you for the most amazing 2 weeks we have ever had. We celebrated a 50th birthday and a 25th anniversary. It was absolutley AWESOME.

The units location is the best thing going for it. We enjoyed our time there a great deal. The amenities that the Alii have to offer makes for a great vacation. The only thing that would make for a better vacation, is for the unit to be updated. It is still in it's original condition. The bathrooms, & kitchen need work & replacement. The balcony doors were extremely difficult to open, due to age & weathering.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review, Ron. Our plans call for a complete remodel of this unit next year. We would do it sooner, however we have so many repeat guests committed already that there is not sufficient time available until later next year. Already we have begun this upgrade process, setting the condo up with high speed free Wi-Fi, a brand new refrigerator, living room sofa, and two new TV's in both the living room and master bedroom.

This condo is perfect, everything you will need is provided for you. . The view is perfect, great location. Condo is very clean and comfortable. Short walking distance to Whaler's Village and restaurants , they also provide free Wifi now which was a nice surprise. I would highly recommend renting this unit. Would rent again.

Great Vacation Site

We loved the great view of ocean and blackrock from this condo! Easy access to beach and great location on island. The room was clean with everything we needed. Washer and dryer are in the unit so we were able to spend the 10 days with just our carryon luggage. Only a few room towels are provided for the beach, so be sure to purchase some extra soap for clean towels all week (unless you hire the maid service). There was just 3 of us, so we actually loved not having the maid service in the room everyday. Just a short walk to the restaurants and shopping mall. Safeway store is just a short drive to Lahaina. The condo conceirge will book any excursions for no extra charge. We booked a snorkel/dive cruise which was very nice, but then discovered that the snorkeling was so much better at BlackRock and it was free! The Old Lahaina Luau and the Parasail were definitely worth the money though! We would love to stay there again during whale watching season!
