This house was built in Spanish style on a mountain plateau, with an enchanting view of the Mediterranean, coast and near surroundings. The kitchen and dining room are beautifully united with the living room by Toska flooring, and this and the lovely, unique furnishing and fireplace give the house its Spanish/ Mediterranean character. This country house has two levels. There’s a ground floor with living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. From the Moorish hallway you have access to the oriental furnished living/bedroom on the upper floor with separate bathroom. On the ground floor is located the adjacent covered outdoor terrace (Naya) with large table and up to 8 seats and a very lovely view of the sea, mountains and pool. Next to the pool there’s a very nice summer kitchen with barbecue for lunch and evening meals with family or friends.

This house is in a sunny, tranquil location in Rafol de Almunia Urbanisation Residencial near Pego, which has a good selection of shops, restaurants, banks and doctors. The harbour town of Denia approx. 14 km away is particularly attractive in summer with street cafes, fish restaurants and a large fishery and ferry harbour with an old castle above the town. From the pool terrace you can see rice fields and orange plantations, and as far as the extensive sandy beach encircled by natural dunes and the 18 hole golf course of Oliva Nova. We particularly recommend trips and walks in the mountainous scenery of the Sierra di Bernia with fantastic views of Costa Blanca as far as Benidorm (approx.40 km away) and lots of leisure parks such as Terra Mitica, the safari/water park, Aqualandia etc. Because it is so near, Valencia is the most popular culinary and cultural destination, and the Americas Cup of 2007 took place off the coast of Valencia.
