Whether looking to escape for work or play, this condo will answer the call. Working? The quiet south end of Marco Island is removed from the rat-race, and an oversize office will provide you with an ample work area, and great views for inspiration or day dreaming.

Playing? In addition to sunbathing, swimming, or strolling to the beach ... Marco Island has shops, restaurants, and activities to fill your days and nights!

Beautiful tennis courts are available to all renters free of charge. Low tides create a private beach for swimming,

beach walking, and magnificent shelling. You will go home with a basket of perfect, unusual shells

Dolphins and manatees grace our shoreline along with the occasional jumping ray and starfish to be rescued. Osprey fish the water and pelicans drift by on the wind currents.

Mirage on the Gulf has a brand new grilling station with state-of-the-art gas grills, tables for preparation and picnic tables with umbrellas for use.

Our Pass is considered one of the best fishing spots in South Florida and our dock is home to some spectacular catches. The spotlights on the water at night supply endless entertainment with lighted creatures swimming (and jumping) by.

The unit is large and sunny offering two screened-in lanais, one facing the Pass and the other facing East, North and West. Sailboats, yachts, and fishing boats cruise the Pass on their way to the Gulf of Mexico and Ten Thousand Islands.

The master bedroom suite is on the North side of the unit with complete privacy from the other bedrooms. The laundry room is equipped with a new washer and dryer.

The living area includes a breakfast bar and a wet bar with under-counter refrigerator. The kitchen opens to the living area with a formal, large dining room. There is also a spacious dining area on the South lanai.

Penthouse E is quiet and private with an elevator directly across from the foyer. The large, modern kitchen has everything an ambitious cook could possibly need. Marco Island has three grocery stores along with several fish markets that receive the fresh day's catch every morning.

Within walking distance the South end of the Island offers Italian, Irish, Mexican and seafoods restaurants.

Owners Ray and Shelley Netherwood live at Mirage on the Gulf in Penthouse D. We are bikers and often don't use our car for days (or weeks!). We take full advantage of our beach for shelling. Our favorite beach activity is to walk to the West end of the beach at low tide and float back to Mirage with the incoming tide. It is peaceful and easy enough for children to participate. We also enjoy our tennis courts, that with all their beauty, are seldom used but always in tip-top shape.

Cable T.V. is in the unit along with a WiFi connection.

The locals know the secret of Marco Island: the South end. Free from traffic, it is the quietest part of the Island. The Caxambas Pass is one of only two entrances to the Island's inland canals. This is the end of Florida civilization on the West coast. To our South is an endless array of big and little islands. These can be reach off our beach by kayak, canoe or long board. The sand bars change with every tide, never boring.

Our favorite island retreat

We rented this large and private condo for a week. It was very quite, roomy, and had the most magnificant views on the island. In the evening the lights came on on the very private dock and many snook came in and were easy to observe. It is in a great location due to the fact it is away from the crowded beaches and had it's own little beach at low tide to walk to the Cape. There was a lot of room for us and we loved the comfortable furniture. We have stayed at several locations on the Island and this has been our favorite. Being able to see the small islands from this part of Marco make the views just unbelievable. We found this condo to be luxury at it's best.

One of the last condos to be built in the area, the building is contemporary, having 54 units and 5 penthouses, of which this is the largest. PH-E has been totally remodeled, all new furniture, luxurious appointments, and in top condition. A gated/restricted access property, with tropical grounds and two tennis courts. Owner lives on property.

Mirage on the Gulf is at the extreme south end of Marco Island ... quiet and relaxing. Go shelling at low tide right off the property on a newly formed beach. Bird watch, dolphin watch, fish off the dock, spend the day in the sun or shade, float in the pool, or soak in the hot tub. A two-plus block walk gets you to the South Beach entrance and the closest restaurant and bar.

Bring your bicycles, shared use paths and bike lanes take you all over the island, making everything the island has to offer easily accessible and from the condo on the south end to the north end is an easy 1/2 hour ride.

No bikes, but enjoy walking -- you won't be alone. A nine block stroll to 'Marco Walk Shopping Center' which houses restaurants, bars, shops, 4 screen theater, and a miniature golf course across the street. Other dining opportunities within blocks of the Center as well.

Rentals at Mirage are tightly controlled. New renters are required to fill out an application for approval to lease which needs to be submitted to the building management 10 days prior to commencement of lease.
A refundable deposit of $500 is due upon booking to secure the reservation. Cancellation of the reservation with less than two months notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Rent is due and payable thirty days prior to the beginning of the rental period. Cancellations after this time will result in forfeiture of the rent.
