The Art Deco apartment was professionally renovated in 2008 & party furnished & decorated with designer furniture and charming modern art. It is situated in one of the best tree-lined streets & is only a stone’s throw away from Club Nautico, surrounded by the lively market & the several restaurants & cafes. It is only 5 minutes to reach the city. The apartment boasts a size of 100 m². It has a spacious loft beside the living / dining room with a large, open kitchen. The 2 bedrooms, each with a bed (160 x 200) at the back of the apartment have been designed keeping in mind your complete relaxation. 2 shower baths of modern design with microcement, marble, tiled floors & Duravit Washbasins. There is another terrace upstairs with a Moroccan marble table where you can view the boat masts of Club Nautica whilst enjoying your breakfast. Sun lounges have also been provided for sun-bathing. The perfect location for all seasons. Enjoy an eventful holiday in the coveted, trendy Palmas district.

Santa Catalina is a trendy district of Palma which is only a stone’s throw away from Club Nautico. Several restaurants and street cafes line the lively market hall. You can easily walk it to the Baluard Museum and to the city centre. The Palma city beach in front of the cathedral can be reached in 10 minutes. A quick bus service takes you to the airport and the various beaches. Santa Catalina is one of the most sought-after holiday destinations owing to its original 3-storeyed fisherman cottages and the tree-lined streets.

Notes: The living room is equipped with a 42 inch flat-screen TV, which has the facility to translate programs into various languages (ONO), a DVD Player and fast WLAN internet connectivity. The apartment was professionally renovated in the summer of 2008. It is partly furnished with designer furniture. Modern Art adorns the walls and makes a fascinating contrast to the Art Deco building. It is well suited for seniors as well as it is situated in the 2nd floor and the bedrooms are very quiet and relaxing.

Wir haben im Juli einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Palma verbracht. Dank dieser tollen perfekt eingerichteten Wohnung mit einer hervorragenden Klimaanlage konnten wir die äußerst heißen Tage auf Mallorca sehr genießen. Leider war es uns nicht vergönnt, die Vermieterin persönlich kennen zu lernen. Dafür haben wir uns mit dem wirklich netten aus Deutschland stammenden Wohnungsbetreuer mehrmals auf ein Bier und oder einen Wein getroffen und stehen noch jetzt im E-Mail-Verkehr.

Nicht zuletzt die TOP-Lage im Catalina Viertel macht den Aufenthalt einfach unvergesslich.

Perfekt

Wir haben im November08 eine Woche in der Wohnung verbracht und können uns nur den anderen Bewertungen anschließen. Die Wohnung ist sehr stilvoll und mit besten Materialien eingerichtet- man fühlt sich wirklich vom ersten Moment an wohl. Dazu kommt, dass man durch die sehr netten Vermieter auch immer einen Ansprechpartner in der Nähe hat.
Das Viertel ist eine perfekte Mischung aus vielen Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, das sehr an die angesagten Viertel in Barcelona erinnert.
Kurz gesagt, es war perfekt!

Wunderbare Abwechslung zum Finca-Leben

Nach dem freundlichen Empfang durch die nette Vermieterin waren wir schon nach wenigen Augenblicken völlig begeistert von der grosszügigen und hübsch eingerichteten Wohnung im schönen Catalinaviertel. Zum ersten Mal nach vielen Jahren auf Mallorca ein Domizil, dass liebevoll und provessionell ausgestattet wurde und nicht mit Resten aus Omas Wohnung. Alles tiptop eingerichtet, die Matratzen verdient diesen Namen und ist eine wahre Wohltat für ausgewachsene Menschen, wenn man spanische Schlafverhältnisse kennengelernt hat. Die Küche ermöglicht Kochen statt improvisieren und unser einziger Wunsch nach einer Koplettierung mit kleinen Schälchen und einem zweiten Besteckset wurde vermutlich noch am Tag unserer Abreise erfüllt.

Diese Wohnung kann man unbedenklich empfehlen, wenn man einmal einen Stadturlaub auf Mallorca verbringen und zentral und komfortabel wohnen möchte. Zum Stadtstrand ist es bei gemütlichem Schlendern am Wasser entlang ca. 25 Minuten. Eine kleine Chance, die Schlemmereien vom Vorabend wieder abzutrainieren. Der Bus vom Flughafen hält nur 200 m vom Haus entfernt, kostet pro Person EUR 1.85, also ist wirklich kein Auto notwendig.Eine uneingeschränkt schönes Erlebnis.

Comfortable, cool and very well located

I stayed in this apartment for one week in August 2008 - it is beautifully and recently renovated, and tastefully and comfortably furnished.

It has heaps of natural light, access to outside space, and a (shared but normally vacant) roof terrace with a lovely view.

The area of Santa Catalina is very centrally located, with the city centre and El Terreno districts both no more than 10 or 15 minutes walk away. The area has lots of cool restaurants and bars, so there's never any need to go searching for a good meal.

Highly recommended.
