Enjoy your tropical vacation away from the crowds and traffic of town in our guest suite. Our 2 acres are located about six miles north of Kona Town at 1100 ft elevation where the sunsets are spectacular, the stargazing is magical and the relaxation is complete.
Your accommodations are in our Ohana (guest suite) which is attached to our home but is self-contained with its own private entrance. Bedroom #1 is a studio with king bed that can convert to two twins, a queen size wall bed, a kitchenette and a sliding door leading out to the lanai and pool. The spa style bathroom connects the studio to the second bedroom which features a king bed. We have a barbecue, loungers and a dining table on the lanai for your use.
High speed Wi-fi internet is included, and the flat screen television is equipped with Roku for on-demand viewing using Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Instant Video. We have a large selection of DVD movies as well. We do not have broadcast or cable television channels.
We strive to provide a resort experience for our guests. If your goal is to relax, this is the perfect place for you. If you are celebrating a special occasion, we would be happy to arrange extra in-room amenities.
We have factsheets that provide recommendations for best nearby beaches, day trips, and restaurants. We also can offer advice on best sources for many other tourist and leisure activities on the island, such as helicopter tours, botanical gardens, and ocean adventures.
Lastly, it is never fun having to stop at the grocery store after a long trip. If you contact us a minimum of 1 week in advance of your stay, we can stock your refrigerator with milk, fish, fruit and other basic grocery items; we do not charge extra for this service, you pay only for the actual cost of the items we purchase on your behalf. As our guests, you will have access to our pantry, which stocks sugar, flour, basic canned goods, cooking oil, rice, and other bulk items that you might need.
Hello we are Michelle and Paul. We moved to Hawaii in 2013 after vacationing on the big island for years. Between the two of us we have lived in or visited much of the world (living most of the time in the Pacific Northwest) - but now we call Kailua Kona home. Michelle is a social worker and Paul is computer consultant.

We looked for a place away from the busy and touristy center of Kona. We bought 2 acres about six miles outside of town with a great ocean view at a comfortable elevation of 1100 feet. We are now engaged in the exciting process of building ourselves a coffee farm and planting gardens to grow much of our fruit and vegetables.

We reserve the right to limit 2-night booking to fill gaps in our schedule of 5-nights or less. Reservations are subject to a 20% (twenty percent) cancellation fee when canceled more than 60 days in advance of arrival. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival are subject to a 50% (fifty percent) cancellation fee. No refund within 30 days of arrival.
