Private, romantic hideaway located in the traditional style of the country

Located in a huge, tropical garden. The house has a living room, bedroom and children's room as well as a kitchen, bathroom and a completely covered terrace with sea view. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas stove and water dispenser for drinking water. Bathroom with hot water shower and Western style WC. All rooms have ceiling fans. WiFi ADSL internet can be used free of charge.

You want to see the world, not tour guides, hotel pools and deckchairs. You want to travel on your own, without being dependent on a travel agency.

Ko Phangan is a small tropical island located in the Gulf of Thailand, which is becoming increasingly popular among tourists from all over the world. The quiet and peaceful setting of Thong Nai Pan is ideal to relax and chill out. Diving enthusiasts will be thrilled as well, since the waters around the island of Koh Phangan offer numerous beautiful areas for scuba diving and coral reefs just off the coast.

Arrival: Bangkok Airways flies to Koh Samui several times daily. Thai Airways and AirAsia fly to Surat Thani several times daily. Since February 2008, Thai Airways also flies to Koh Samui twice a day.

The crossing from Koh Samui takes 20 – 40 min, and 2 – 4 hours from Surat Thani. It is also possible to arrive by boat from Chumporn over Koh Tao to Koh Phangan. The boats cross several times daily. Combined tickets for boat and bus/train can be purchased in all travel agencies in Thailand.

Thong Nai Pan is located in the north-east of Koh Phangan und 45 min from Thongsala or Haad Rin Pier with regular pickup taxi service. Arrival by boat to Thong Nai Pan is possible departing from Samui, Haad Rin or Thongsala. The beach and village of Thong Nai Pan Noi with numerous restaurants, bars and shopping facilities can be reached within only 5 min walk. Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai are a double beach which create a marvellous bay; there are amongst the most popular beaches in the east which is the sunrise side of the island. Both beaches are paradise-like with softly bent which sandy coves, surrounded by mountains that are covered in tropical rain forest. The surrounding mountains seclude those beaches to a great extent.

Stayed in Bann Bodo in December 2009 and had the most fantastic time. The bungalow was a short walk away (although steep) from the little town and beach however this was no real issue. The bungalow had everything you could want and waking up every morning to the view was worth any walk! The beach was also fantastic - the best on the island. Bann Bodo was surprisingly large and very comfortable. The kitchen was well kitted out and we had everything we could have wanted. Mr Tok was also brilliant and helpful especially by picking us up and going to the supermarket with us. Cant wait to return to watch the stars every evening and listen to the crickets and wake up every morning to the most amazing sun rise.
