Why Denise Eads or Eddie Shelton chose Clayton
The setting on the mountain affords wonderful views, yet is very convenient to town, restaurants, activities, and a wonderful Ingles grocery store. We have enjoyed the cabin for three years now, it is a great place to just relax and enjoy the sounds of nature from the screened porch, gather to get re-connected with friends and family, and a great home base from which to explore other areas of N. GA, or venture into NC or SC. We have enjoyed whitewater rafting, hiking, shopping, sight seeing, boating on Lake Rabun (Lake Burton is also a close option for boating), local restaurants, wineries.
What makes this cabin unique
The screened porch is everyone's favorite! It is our favorite place to start the day and end the day. The setting among trees gives you the feel of being in a big tree house when you are on the porch. A friend commented 'this is great, we are sitting in the trees looking down on the squirrels!'
